Among the many wonders of Russia, Lake Peipus cannot be overlooked. The northern and western shores of this natural resource are assigned to Estonia, and the eastern one belongs to our state. The fastest way to get to this wonderful place is by car from St. Petersburg or from Pskov. In the first case, you will have to cover a distance of 250 km, which will take approximately 3 hours. If you go by car from Pskov, you will get to the right place in about half an hour, and the rest of the way depends on the recreation center on Lake Peipsi, which you have chosen in advance. Among these, one can note a wonderful place called "Chudskoye Compound", as well as the cottage village "Far Far Far Away". The city of Gdov is the main center where almost everyone who comes to rest on Lake Peipsi gathers. On the map of this village, first of all, you can find the main sights that go back centuries. The Cathedral of the Sovereign Mother of God is located here as a monument of ancient architecture, as well as the "Raven Stone", glorified by the famous commander and Tsar Alexander Nevsky.
