Parks of Chelyabinsk - we have a rest with pleasure

A regional city with more than a million inhabitants, once founded as a fortress, and today the largest commercial and industrial center of the Urals is Chelyabinsk. It grows both in breadth and up. The number of parks for citizens to relax is also increasing.

Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Yu. A. Gagarina

This park in Chelyabinsk (see photo below) is a favorite place for Chelyabinsk residents and guests of the city. It is located in the center and delights visitors with beautiful ponds, dense tree crowns, paved paths, charming flower beds, cleanliness and well-groomed. Attractions, and there are a lot of them in the park, work all year round. Among the popular ones are a trampoline, a roller coaster and, of course, a Ferris wheel. For older visitors, karaoke, several summer cafes (for every taste and budget), a theater and an open-air cinema are organized. As well as a paintball field, a fishing outpost, an indoor tennis court and a karting track, which becomes an ice rink in the cold. Opens in winter and a ski base with a lighted ski run.

In 2007, a symbol of love and fidelity was installed on the central square in the "Fountain of Happiness" -a pair of white swans. In the same year, the park was given the status of a specially protected area. Partly because there is a unique pine forest here, in which tame squirrels live.

Every year, the city administration holds festive events of citywide significance, tournaments, regional festivals, concerts, etc. in the park. Discos are organized at the local dance floor.

In the children's part of the Gulliver Park, kids are greeted by heroes of their favorite fairy tales and cartoons. All sorts of carousels and even a railway are open for young guests of the Gagarin Children's Park in Chelyabinsk.

For the convenience of visitors, PKiO has several entrance zones.

City garden them. Pushkin

One of the most comfortable places in the city. Pyramid poplars, silver spruces and cedars, rare in this region, grow here. Already in the 30s of the last century, this park was a favorite vacation spot for citizens.

Today, many parks in Chelyabinsk hold many events, but it is here that mass festivities take place - from City Day to the New Year.

All parks in Chelyabinsk are loved by the citizens. But there are special places in which it is cozy and good for children. In the park. VV Tereshkova surprisingly quiet and comfortable. On the alleys leading to the central square with a fountain and a small cafe, comfortable benches are installed. There is a sandbox with toys for kids, trampolines, swings and other attractions for older children.

In winter, the kids can't get out of here either: a large skating rink is flooded.

"Forestextreme”

All parks in Chelyabinsk have their own zest. Forest Extreme, for example, is an amazing place for lovers of active entertainment. There is everything for sport climbing, even an artificial rock. Trails of all kinds of difficulty have been prepared in the park, and the routes have been thought out taking into account the varying degrees of physical fitness of the guests.

All necessary equipment can be rented from a local rental shop.

In addition to sports entertainment, there are surprisingly beautiful places for relaxing walks in the "Forest Extreme". The paths of the park are favorite places for couples in love and families with kids. Older children enjoy spending time on the attractions of the amusement park.

Scarlet Field

Like all parks in Chelyabinsk, this one is also shady and cozy. But this is the first park in the city. Historical manuscripts say that already at the end of the 19th century, fun fairs with bright and funny attractions were held at this place. After many transformations and renamings, this place again became the "Scarlet Field" (although the townspeople called it "Polyana"). In addition to beautiful shady trees and architectural compositions, this park is famous for its organ and chamber music concert hall. The organ installed in it is considered one of the best in Europe.

The parks of Chelyabinsk (addresses are listed below) are all immersed in greenery. But this particular place of rest is a real forest park area for unhurried walks. There are manysecluded paths and cozy benches for reading.
