Moldova's main international airport annually handles about 7,500 flights, over one million passengers and is home to airlines such as Air Moldova and Moldavian Airlines.
The official ticket offices of Air Moldova, Moldavian Airlines, Carpatair, AirB altic, Austrian/Lufthansa, Turkish, Utair and Wizzair operate in the airport lounges.

How to get there: route Chisinau – Airport
Chisinau Airport is located 15 km from the city center, so the most comfortable way to get there is by taxi. Official taxi services in Chisinau charge from 50 to 80 lei for a trip, which is about 3-4 €.
The airport can be reached by public transport. Bus route "Express A" will deliver passengers from the square. Dmitry Kantemir to the very doors of the airport building. Bus number 65 leaves from the central market (central bus station) and stops a few hundred meters from the Chisinau airport terminal.

Despite the fact that a taxi to the center will cost about 5 €, you should be careful about choosing a carrier. At the airport building, a lot of illegal drivers are on duty around the clock, offering to quickly and cheaply take arriving passengers to Chisinau. The airport offers official transportation - 24-hour taxi stands of operators are located right outside the arrivals hall.
