Studying the airport plan to save time

Now we will consider the plan of Sheremetyevo Airport, which will help us understand the designations of the terminals. There are several of them here. The plan of Sheremetyevo Airport includes Terminal A, which serves business aviation passengers. By location, it is located in the northeastern part of Sheremetyevo and east of Terminal C. Terminal B was located next to C, namely in the northern part of the airport. The terminal has eight seats serving Aeroflot aircraft. There are also 22 seats in the western sector serving business aviation aircraft, five seats in the eastern sector for cargo flights. There are 30 counters where passengers check in, as well as thirty-six booths for passport control, automatic screening of all luggage and its sorting. In April 2017, it was decided to temporarily close Terminal C in order to integrate it with the new Terminal B.

New terminals

The plan of Sheremetyevo Airport also includes terminal D, which is located in the southern part. Terminals E and F also operate there. Since 2012, the terminal has been considered Sheremetyevo International Airport. The very first flight was made in November 2009 to the city of Sochi. Terminal E began operating in 2010.
