Ulyanovsk forest park in the Moscow region: ecotourism

The Ulyanovsk forest park in the Moscow region has been a specially protected natural area since 2012, it was planted as part of the protective forest belt of the capital in 1935. In the village of Rasskazovka, adjacent to the Ulyanovsk forest park, there is a recreation center "Gloria", which has recently become known as the "Pearl of the Moscow Region".

The forest park occupies a huge area, more than 2.5 thousand hectares, and is conditionally divided into quarters. On its territory, surrounded by lushly flowering grasses, the Likova River flows, two large streams - Bezymyanny and Ekaterininsky. Majestic spruces and pines, centuries-old oaks, graceful aspens, Russian birches, black alder grow here, in some places linden and larch are found. There are a lot of mushrooms and plants in the park that are listed in the Red Book of the Moscow Region, for example, Siberian iris and coral-like blackberry.

Rare species of woodpeckers, kestrel, pygmy owls and other birds nest in the Ulyanovsk forest park. In the forest you can meet snakes, and in impassable places live hares, ermines, weasels, beavers and muskrats, squirrels,foxes, boars. Moose used to be here, but now they are gone.

The distance from Moscow to the Ulyanovsk forest park (pictured below) is about 40 km, so residents and guests of the capital often visit the park's nature trails.

Not far from the village of Ulyanovsk forest park there is a horse farm where you can learn the art of riding or just ride a quiet horse. Nearby there is also a pond "Seagull" with a well-groomed infrastructure for relaxing in the bosom of nature. The reservoir has an area of about 10 hectares, there are numerous walking paths around it.

Another interesting place on the territory of the village is the cultural and entertainment recreation area "Gloria". The main attraction of "Gloria" is an ennobled pond, which has a well-maintained beach area. There are a lot of fish in the reservoir, which attracts fishing enthusiasts here every year.

The recreation area in the Ulyanovsk forest park is located near a quiet forest lake, along the banks of which it is pleasant to walk. The picturesque nature of these places attracts Muscovites and guests of the capital not only in summer, but also at other times of the year.

Spring smells here earlier than in the city. On the thawed patches one can meet the first snowdrops, forest birds begin to sing in a different way. And in autumn, nature appears here in all its splendor. In winter, many tourists come hereaccording to tradition, celebrate the New Year and spend the Christmas holidays.

Housing and food

Vacationers are accommodated in a large chopped log guest house, which is designed for 15 rooms of different categories: suite, junior suite and standard with a modern interior made according to an individual design solution. Everywhere there is comfortable furniture, TVs, toilets and showers. In summer, Hoteltree is an original tree hotel that can accommodate up to 4 guests and is equipped with a guest and kitchen area, sleeping places, a bathroom and even a balcony.

Two capacious restaurants have been created to cater for guests - "Gloria" in the shape of a ship and "Cave". Here gourmet dishes are prepared not only of traditional Russian, but also of European cuisine. Lovers of karaoke songs and dances gather in the "Cave". Since the summer of this year, a "Beer bar" with dried fish has been operating on the beach, which quickly gained popularity among vacationers.

Recreation area infrastructure

On the territory of the recreation area in the Ulyanovsk Forest Park, there are numerous gazebos with barbecue facilities, barbecue areas and verandas for relaxation. There are beautiful banquet halls for celebrations: corporate parties, anniversaries, weddings, etc.

At the recreation center "Gloria" in the Ulyanovsk forest park, many areas with neatly cut grass are specially reserved for picnics. Some families come here without an overnight stay: they restfrom morning to evening in the fresh air, bathe, cook barbecue and leave in the evening. Convenient access roads lead to the base, and next to it there are enough parking spaces that are guarded.

A special role was given to baths at the recreation center: there are six of them, large and small, simpler and VIP-categories, with and without pools, Russian and Finnish, with jacuzzis and phyto barrels - for every taste.

How to brighten up leisure time in "Gloria" and its environs

Beautiful playgrounds with slides and swings have been created for children, you can jump on a trampoline or paint your face with face painting. Active recreation opportunities for older vacationers are represented by a paintball zone, fishing, and wakeboarding. Beach holidays and walks along wonderful forest paths - for all ages.

For lovers of fishing, special places are equipped where there is calm calm water and no swimmers. All necessary equipment can be rented.

Literally a hundred meters from the base is the most beautiful temple of the Icon of the Mother of God "Fadeless Color", after visiting which the feeling of peace and tranquility fills the soul even more. If you wish, you can drive for about 10-15 minutes and visit the Trinity Church and the Assumption Church.
