Since March 1997 is a permanent member of the Eurasian Regional Associationzoos and aquariums. On its territory in 2009, an unparalleled children's petting zoo (Kazan) - "Lukomorye" was opened. Employees are also actively involved in conservation programs for the endangered white-tailed eagle, imperial eagle, Steller's sea eagle and black vulture. The year 1991 was marked by a significant event when the offspring was obtained from imperial eagles, the second recorded in the world.
