One of the largest reservoirs in the Perm Territory is Lake Chusovskoye. Translated from the Komi-Permyak language, the word "chus" means "deep ravine". It is located in close proximity to the border with the Komi Republic and belongs to the Kama basin. It is on this reservoir that experienced fishermen from all over the country, lovers of successful and large-scale fishing, strive to get. Fishing is carried out here all year round.
Square
Lake Chusovskoye (Perm Territory) is distinguished by its rather impressive size and unusual shape. Its area is about twenty hectares. The width of the water surface extends for three kilometers, in length - for 18 km. The lake is relatively shallow. The average depth is about two meters. The maximum depth found in some places reaches eight meters.
Description
Chusovskoye lake has the shape of an oval or, as the fishermen say, plates. The coastline near the water saucer is weakly expressed. The coastline is mostly sand or silt. Low and underdeveloped vegetation (grass, sedge, reed) allows you to freely get to the water line. In percentage terms, the degree of overgrowth of the reservoir is about forty.
Due to the ingress of marsh waters into the lake, it has a colorgreenish yellow. Despite a sufficient amount of silt along the coast, the reservoir is flowing and is a favorite place for fish going to spawn.
Fishing
It is believed that the largest feeding place for fish in the Perm Territory is Chusovskoye Lake. Fishing here is always successful and trophy. Pike is caught here, the weight of which reaches twelve kilograms, and perch weighing up to two kg. The fish ide, pike perch, ruff, roach, burbot and bream are excellent on the hook. In winter, moving along the tributaries, grayling appears in the lake.
Experienced fishermen, lovers of pike hunting, fell in love with Lake Chusovskoye. This fish is not frightened here, therefore, when catching it, it does not resist at all, it stands, bulging its eyes in surprise. Visiting fishermen try to get here in spring or warm summer. It is believed that fishlessness does not happen here at this time. But the locals say that even on frosty winter days, when the lake surface is covered with a thick layer of ice, the life of the fish does not stop. Just patience and time for a successful catch will take a little more than at other times of the year.
How to get there
It is quite difficult to get to a reservoir rich in various fish. Locals say that Chusovskoye Lake is one of the hard-to-reach fishing spots in their region. How to get to the place for a beginner who has never been in these parts? How to find a fishing "paradise"?
The nearest settlement is called Nyrob. The village is located 100 kilometers from the lake. Unfortunately, an open path, a good road or a clearYou will not find the beaten path to the reservoir. The first option is to get here on a special vehicle. In summer it can be an ATV, and in winter it can be a snowmobile or snow and swamp vehicle. It happens that fishermen get here thanks to a transfer from an airplane or helicopter flying from Perm. The locals use the bike most of the time.
The second option is to use a motorboat, where you can go up the river and get to the lake. The third option, which is practiced by fishermen who are not afraid of difficulties and a long road, is a car. First you need to get to the village of Nyrob. Then drive along the dirt road for about twelve kilometers. Having reached the crossing, transfer to the ferry at Vizhaikha. Further, the path will run along the Colva. And having already reached Visherka along it, we go along it to the mouth.
In any case, the road ahead is long and difficult. But, as experienced fishermen, who every year choose Chusovskoye Lake as a place of rest, say, the journey is worth it. Fishing here is excellent and always successful. There are many fish, you can use different tackle, experiment and train your fishing skills.
And fishing and hunting
On the shore of the lake there is an old artel, where there is even a smokehouse. Now the artel is not functioning, but earlier up to thirty tons of fish were caught in these places annually. In addition, there is a meteorological station and the Cherdyn fishing area nearby.
Lake Chusovskoye (Perm Territory) is not only an amazingly beautiful place for recreation and an incredibly good place for fishingfishing. Hunters gather here every year. During the migration period, thousands of waterfowl and semiaquatic birds gather on the lake. Even simple observation of various bird species brings aesthetic pleasure. Quite often, whole families come here on vacation. The coastline allows you to freely set up a tent and stay comfortably near the coast.
Despite the inaccessibility and remoteness from settlements, Lake Chusovskoye is an alluring beacon for fishing enthusiasts. Unlike the Verkh-Isetsky pond, located within the city, the lake is famous for its clean water and a wide variety of fish. Local fishermen prefer to spend several hours on the road, but enjoy a real successful fishing, rather than spend ten minutes on the way to the reservoir and be disappointed in everything.
