Many people prefer hot countries, azure seas and all-inclusive hotels to rest on the shores of a lake or river. Searching for Black Lake on the map will be quite problematic. And not because it is not there, or it is very small, but because there are many geographical objects with that name, and not only water bodies, and not only in Russia. It is simply impossible to tell about everyone within the framework of one article, especially since the local population considers their Black Lake to be unique and the best. Therefore, let's look at some of them.
Healing source
Let's start with one of the most famous in our country. Khakassia is rightly proud of its reservoir. People come here not only to relax, but also to get some medical treatment, swim in the mineral lake, draw water in the springs. In addition, there are bottom sediments at the bottom of the lake, which are recognized as curative. True, there are no special conditions for vacationers, except that there are recreation centers nearby and the private sector in the village of the same name. Incidentally, this townBlack Lake is also very attractive for tourists. After all, the famous Praskovya phytocenter operates there, where you can get medical treatment according to Siberian recipes, as well as purchase herbal preparations. In connection with the popularity of this place, the question is logical: “How to get to the Black Lake?” There are several roads. The northern one is most often used: 4 kilometers from the village of Novotroitskoye. However, you can also drive from the south - from Sayanogorsk.
Humic acids or Time of Troubles?
The second on our list will be a lake in the Vladimir region, not far from Pokrov. Now it is located on a kind of peninsula, which used to be an island. Historians are still arguing why it is called Black. According to one version, this happened due to the fact that the water is colored with humic acids and seems dark. But there is another story. During the Time of Troubles, local residents hid on the island, but the Poles found them, hacked them to death or drowned them, and burned the surrounding pine forest. The island turned into black ashes. It, like the lake, began to be called Black. In the village of Oil Hills, which was located on the same island, they produced butter for bagels, which were served on the royal table.
Lake on land
The next "Black Lake" on our list is not a lake at all. This is a city park in Kazan. Once upon a time there really was a lake with that name on this place. Green spaces were made around, and the banks were trimmed with ledges. The water was unusually clear, but over time became swampy, and the local authorities decidedfill up the pond. But the park remains. At the end of the century before last, it was the main place for festivities of Kazan citizens. There was a restaurant, photo pavilions, a fountain that turned into a skating rink in winter. And in the 30s of the twentieth century, the “Arch of Lovers” was installed here, which has amazing acoustics.
This is not all the objects with the mysterious name "Black Lake". In Ulyanovsk, for example, there is an oxbow lake with this name and an ecological park around, where many animals live, rare and endangered representatives of the flora grow. It is also the name of a surprisingly picturesque lake in the Czech Republic - the deepest and largest among all natural lakes in this country. Guests and residents of Montenegro are happy to admire the beauty of the Black Lake in the Durmitor National Park. Melted waters form an amazing waterfall here in spring.
Be that as it may, but each natural reservoir is unique and worthy of the attention and pride of local residents.
