The lake itself is shallow: the greatest depth reaches 4-5 meters, and the average is within 2-3 meters.
Those who prefer more comfortable conditions of rest can use the services of a recreation center and a hotel located near the reservoir. The windows of comfortable rooms offer a picturesque view of the Kavgolovskoye Lake. The village, located nearby, provides everyone with the opportunity to stay on vacation in the private sector. And you can relax not only in the warm season. With the onset of winter, ski lovers come here. Ski slopes Toksovo are nearby.
As you can see, there are many opportunities to diversify your leisure time - there are quite dense forests around, in which lovers of "quiet hunting" can pick berries and mushrooms. Among the entertainment - not only fishing and hiking for
gifts of the forest: you can offer both hunting (depending on the season) and horseback riding. In summer you can swim, and in winter you can go skiing and snowboarding. And there is no need to go home every time: come for a few days to Kavgolovskoye Lake. It is worth visiting the Museum of Wooden Crafts, visiting the Novokavgolovsky forest park or visiting a bison farm. In general, there are about 150 monuments of architecture and history in the district, so there will be something for the curious to do.
