There is only one passenger terminal and two runways, the longest reaches 3300 meters in length. Both international and domestic flights arrive here. In 2008, Venice Marco Polo Airport received and served a passenger flow of 6.8 million passengers - and ranked fourth in the country in terms of passenger volume and number of accepted flights. In the near future, the Venice authorities plan to reconstruct the runways - replacing the asph alt pavement.
