In the city itself, in its central part, there are only two large parking lots: Tronchetto, where the Bonelli bus arrives, and Piazza Roma. Although in fact the choice is much wider, it is difficult to find information about this. There is also Toderini's garage, Doji's car park, Venice's garage and others, but this is more for those who have the opportunity to call there directly and reserve a car space. For parking here you will have to pay up to 30 euros per hour. If you leave the car in Mestre, this will not spoil your holiday at all, since the bus service to Venice and the suburbs is very busy, and trains run frequently.

To drive around Venice by car is also not a very great pleasure: the streets are narrow, stone pavements. Still, it is better to breathe the romantic air of Venice not from the car window.
