The Kuzminki metro station is located between Tekstilshchiki and Ryazansky Prospekt, two other stations of the Moscow Metro, in the homonymous district of the Russian capital. It belongs to the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya, one of the busiest lines in Moscow. Its opening took place in 1966, it was named after the area in which it is located. Since then, the metro station has been honestly and diligently fulfilling its function almost all the time - transportation of Muscovites and guests of the city.

“Kuzminki”, the metro station, like all Moscow stations, has a magnificent view: 80 reinforced concrete columns, which are arranged in rows on the platform and lined with white marble. The floor is covered with gray and red granite. Cast bas-reliefs depicting various forest animals (fish, squirrels, martens, ducks, hares and tits on mountain ash) are placed on the walls (artist - Derviz G. G.). The architect of the station is Shagurin L. A., co-author - Korneev M. N., Shmitov N. A. was a design engineer.

From the beginning of construction, the track walls were covered with glazed ceramic tiles, the former cream color, top and bottom with brown-red stripes. In 2008, they were re-clad with enamelled aluminum color scheme. The floor was redone at the same time.

The station was built according to a standard project from reinforced concrete, prefabricated unified structures. The ceiling height is four meters, the distance between the tracks is 12.9 meters, the widthplatforms - ten meters, the pitch of the columns - four meters, the width of the column - five hundred meters, the distance between the axes - 5.9 meters. In the very center of the platform, as well as on many others, there is a descent to the service premises.

Therefore, if you are an inexperienced local resident or a visitor to the city, take the train in the opposite direction and go there,where is faster. Do not expect that the Kuzminki metro station will provide you with the opportunity to come in and sit down and sleep by inviting you to an empty train. You will most likely run out of space. In principle, if possible, at this time try to go in a different way. The opening of the subway outside Vykhino specifically eased the fate of this station, but, unfortunately, it did not get any easier in Kuzminki.

The infrastructure is available here, you can drink in the summer in the heat and eat nearby in several cafes, restaurants and even in one pizzeria. There are several shops near the station. If you look in different directions, you can see several clothing stores, both in shopping centers and separately. Still, it is felt that Moscow is in front of us. Near this metro station there isseveral hotels that are located at a distance of up to one kilometer from Kuzminki: the hotel on Okskaya, the Brigantina hotel, the Len Inn hostel, the Taganka hostel, the Vega hostel and many others. If you wish, you can even visit a beauty salon, there are several of them. There is also a dental clinic, several pharmacies. There are state institutions, for example, Rospotrebnadzor and the medical branch of the Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene.
