Excursions to the local history museum

Monuments to Russian writers

The resort embankment is decorated with monuments to A. Pushkin and M. Lermontov. The monument to A. Pushkin, which is a copy of the poet's self-portrait, was erected in honor of his 200th birthday in 1999. Installed under an old poplar, it fits perfectly into the design of the entire embankment. The place where the memorial sign to M. Lermontov was installed was also chosen for a reason: this square was the writer's favorite place at the time when he came to the city. The sculpture is made almost life-size.

Safari Park

The first Black Sea animal rehabilitation center is located in the city of Gelendzhik. Excursions to this park allow you to plunge into the natural habitat of animals brought from all over our planet. If you go up the cable car, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from three different observation platforms. Walking along the picturesque paths, you can stumble upon an ancient dolmen, which is a legacy of the Bronze Age.

Dolmens

They are the greatest mystery and represent the oldest mysterious structures. They have been found in South Korea, France, Great Britain and the Krasnodar Territory. There is no consensus about their purpose in the city of Gelendzhik. Excursions to dolmens are among the most popular, especially among lovers of esotericism, archeology, and history. According to one version, the ancient people built these structures to bury the best members of the community. According to another version, dolmens, like the pyramids of Egypt, are the "receiver" of the Information Field of the Universe.

Waterfalls

Behemoth Water Park

What else can please a friendly coast? Gelendzhik has many water parks and amusement parks. Among them is Behemoth. It is located on an area of 1.5 hectares. The water entertainment complex has three swimming pools, 17 water slopes, two cafes and 2 depositories. There is a huge complex for children, including a swimming pool, five slopes and water guns. Here, the kids are entertained by funny clowns, and if necessary, the child can be left with a teacher.
