Fujairah is a true gem of the United Arab Emirates. Unlike other emirates, it is located on the coast of the Gulf of Oman in the Indian Ocean. Climate and geographic features
Fujairah is the emirate with the most ideal climate in the entire country. In summer it is not as hot here as in other parts of the state, but in winter, on the contrary, the water is warmer compared to Persianbay. There is little precipitation during the year, at the level of 102 mm. The average annual temperature is 26.9 degrees.
July is the warmest month (33.6 degrees), January is the coldest when the temperature drops to +19 degrees.
The emirate itself is located in the center of the Hajjar Mountains on the Arabian Peninsula. On the territory of Al-Fujairah there are many spring wells and beautiful fertile valleys.
Historical reference and modern economy
Fujairah is the youngest emirate of the state, it received its independence only in 1953. Prior to that, he was part of the emirate of Sharjah. Since 1971, it has been part of the UAE as a separate administrative-territorial unit.

But on the other hand, the existing skyscrapers, whichtheir beauty is not inferior to the skyscrapers of Dubai. This is where government and government offices are located.
But above all, the city is famous for its fountains, which are not only pleasing to the eye, but also bring life-giving coolness, which is so necessary in the hot climate of the country.
There is a modern airport and seaport here.
People do not live in the Old City, it is concentrated around the Portuguese fort, surrounded by dilapidated buildings. This area is an architectural monument of the 17th century. It is very beautiful here in winter, when a shrub with a bright color blooms on Mount Hajar.

Like the rest of the UAE, this territory is famous for its coastline. The city has a very diverse landscape: sandy beaches and gorges, mountainous capes, greenery and mineral springs.
Al Aqah Beach El Fujairah is the most beautiful coast of the Indian Ocean, here is golden sand and magnificent surrounding nature. It is located 49 km from the capital of the emirate. It is impossible to imagine the UAE without mosques. The oldest mosque was built here not only in the country, but also in the world, it is called Al-Bidiya. According to some estimates, she is about 500 years old. It is here that you can see the forgotten and traditional architectural style of the Ottoman Empire. Four domes support one central pillar, the mosque itself is white stone, very elegant inside and rough outside.
Fujairah Fort is a 16th century historical monument located along the Castle Road. This is an ancient conical fortress, the top of which is crowned with pyramid-shaped towers, which once served as guard posts. The fort is well looked after and has been recently renovated.
And, of course, having arrived in Fujairah, you should visit the hot healing springs. People come to the source of Ain Al-Ghamur to treat rheumatism and diseases of the skin, with separate pools for men and women. Here the water temperature is from +50 to +60 degrees.
