Poland is a country of the "Schengen zone", which is not too far from Russia. Therefore, many tourists apply for permission to enter Europe through the consulate of this state. In the article below, we will try to tell you how good a Polish visa is for traveling throughout the Schengen area, what are its varieties, what documents are needed in order to obtain it, as well as what steps and in what sequence you need to take so that you made no mistakes, and your enterprise ended successfully.
What do you need and for how long
The type of entry permit depends on the purpose and duration of your stay in Poland, as well as the validity of the stamp that is stuck in your passport. Suppose you are flying to some country in the world by plane, but with a transfer at the airport in Warsaw or Krakow. Then you need a Polish transit visa "A". If you are traveling through the territory of this country by car or train, then you need a type "B" permit. You can apply for such transit visas both for one border crossing and for several. If you wish to study or work in Poland, you will need a permittype "D". Well, tourists, businessmen and other visitors traveling to friends or relatives are issued a standard "Schengen" for ninety days within six months. It can be tourist, business, personal and so on. If you have this Polish type C visa, you will be able to travel with it to other European countries. Especially if you open "multi". And now about how it's done.
Ways
There are three main ways that people who want to get a visa to Poland go through. The first and most traditional is to contact the consulate of the country at its embassy. But for this you have to go to Moscow, and in such a large country as Russia, such a trip can be costly. You can also contact a travel agency that provides specialized services. But even here you will have to fork out, and it remains to be seen in which case you will shell out more money. On the other hand, the company itself undertakes to solve problems: you will have a Polish visa in your pocket, and you will save your nerves. In addition, you will avoid the red tape associated with paperwork, and if you make a mistake in the design, you will always be pointed out in advance. Well, the most budgetary way is to submit documents through the visa center. We will try to consider it in more detail.
How to register at the visa center
To do this, you need to go to the consulate service website and see if there is such an institution in the area where you live. The national Polish visa, or "Schengen", is opened there only if you submit documents through theirresource. Usually at the top left there will be a tab where you can sign up for paper submission. After that, the following window will open in front of you. There you will be prompted to find a region where it will be more convenient to submit documents. You will then be asked for information on how many people apply for a visa on the same day, what type of permit you need - for example, a national or Schengen Polish visa. Registration at the service center is the next step. You will have to enter your email address and create a password. Only then will you see the application form. There you need to indicate your passport number, its validity period, your first and last name in Latin, how long you are asking for a visa and other personal data. You need to pay special attention to filling out this questionnaire, because otherwise the system will not allow you to complete the registration. Only if you did everything right, you are given the opportunity to choose the date of submission of papers - on a special calendar, free days for recording are indicated in green. If the date fits, the system prompts you to decide on the time. After completing the electronic registration, you just have to wait for a special file, where it will be written exactly when you must appear at the visa application center and with what documents.
What to carry
Whatever type of entry permit you ask for, you should always prepare a standard package of papers. Foreign passport with two blank pages and valid for ninety days from the time you return. In addition, you need a photocopy of its first pages. A Russian passport is also required. And here is notdo without photocopying the first pages, as well as registration. Well, of course, two photographs in compliance with the "Schengen" requirements, insurance and a completed and signed application form. A Polish visa with a single entry requires less effort. To do this, you need to present some kind of electronic hotel reservation. But if you want “multi”, then you will be asked to justify why you need multiple entry. For example, the embassy requires not only a booking confirmation, but also an advance payment - at least half of the cost of living. If you are not traveling for the purpose of tourism, then you will need a business, guest, cultural, medical or other Schengen visa (Polish). Additional documents for such permission will be required. This is the original invitation from a company or organization (you should have them with you even after obtaining a visa, since the Polish border service carefully checks them), and a confirmation from the clinic where you are going to be treated, and a “call” from relatives with photocopies of papers, where relation degree. Many of these documents will have to be notarized. In addition, you will have to prove your financial solvency and provide guarantees that you will return back (bank statement, proof of ownership of housing, and so on).
How to fill out the form
The form itself is also downloaded on the Web - on the same resource where you register. A very important condition for obtaining an entry permit is a correctly completed application form. A Polish visa may not be issued to people whodo it carelessly or incorrectly. It is composed quite simply and clearly, but there are some nuances. For example, you can fill it out in Russian, but the last name must be written in Latin. It is better to skip the item about the identification number. When asked about the type of document, indicate that you are traveling on a foreign passport. And do not forget to sign the questionnaire in two places - in paragraph number thirty-six and at the very end. And be sure to include contact phone numbers with codes. You can print the questionnaire only after filling it out - sheets written by hand are not accepted. The fact is that it is registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and information about you will be contained in a special bar code. Glue one photo to the application form. Submit the second along with the documents.
How to apply and how much to pay
When you receive a confirmation e-mail, go when the time is right to the address provided. The procedure can take a long time - even an hour or two. At the visa center you will be given a special ticket, and then you will go to the window according to the number indicated on it. The person who will accept your documents is just a consultant. It does not solve anything, at most it will correct the mistakes that you made when filling out the questionnaire. The visa center staff simply transfers your documents to the consulate. If everything is correct, they give you a receipt with the usual cost of consular fees. This is thirty-five euros plus another nineteen for the services of the center itself. You can pay at the terminal"Energotransbank", since it is usually installed in the same room.
Polish visa - obtaining
In ten days you should know the answer to your case. You can also follow the process online, on the same site where you registered. To do this, you need to enter your email address and password. Then you enter the “office”, where it will be indicated whether your documents are ready. You pick them up in the same place where they served them - the centers are open every day, except weekends. The Polish visa you will be issued may be valid for six months or even twelve months.
Some nuances
Above, we described the standard instructions for obtaining an entry permit on your own through the service. Outside the brackets, of course, there are some specific points. For example, if you already had Schengen visas in your old passport, which has expired, it is better to make photocopies of its pages and attach them to the submitted papers. If you do not have Russian citizenship, you must bring a residence permit document. A Polish work visa is issued only with permission. It is the same in this country for residence (long-term) and for work. But this visa is issued when you have an official offer from a Polish firm or company, and there are not enough people in the country who can do this job. Therefore, you will have to prove your experience and knowledge in the right field.
