What is it, this station? What is the difference? The fact is that the Kantemirovskoye metro station is located on the territory of Tsaritsyno in the administrative district of Moscow - Yuzhny. It is part of the Zamoskvoretskaya Line and is considered an intermediate station in the Moscow Metro.
Today, the lining of the track walls here is made of brown marble with small ornamental inserts of historical and military themes, the flooring of the station hall is lined with red, gray and black granite slabs. There are lamps in the center of the hall on the vault.
With its designthe station extols the defenders of the Fatherland - the soldiers of the 4th Guards Kantemirovskaya Tank Division of the Red Banner Order of Lenin. Yu. Andropova, who distinguished herself in the Great Patriotic War. These warriors are represented on the bas-reliefs created by the sculptors A. Kibalnikov, G. Vybon and V. Protkov. All the walls of the station are covered with light marble, and the platform is immediately illuminated and decorated with marble floor lamps, which are surrounded by benches for passengers.

The project of this station was developed by architects R. Pogrebnoy and V. Fillipov, with the participation of I. Plyukhin. According to their idea, this single-vaulted station was laid only 8 meters deep, built in an open way and has no columns at all, and the structure of the station vault was originally made of solid concrete.
Few people know that the station was opened twice on the Kashirskaya-Orekhovo section. This happened for the first time in 1984 - on December 30, but on the same night there was a flood due to a violation of the waterproofing. The station was closed. And only a month later it was possible to eliminate all the shortcomings and open the station for the second time in February 1985.
By the way, initially, according to the project, the station was supposed to be called "Lenino", but it became known as "Kantemirovskaya" because of the nearby Kantemirovskaya street.

Station hours start at 5:35 am and end at 1:00 am.
