Northern Tushino Park is one of the largest in Moscow. Such zones are the natural "lungs" of the city, which is very important for megacities. Mothers with small children spend most of the day here, giving the kids the opportunity to sleep in the fresh air. For older children, there are plenty of rides and entertainment venues.
History
Archaeological excavations indicate that near the Khimki riverbed there was a site of an ancient man. Events went on as usual, settlements arose and were destroyed, two wars (1812 and 1945) took turns demolishing the settlement from the face of the earth. Only in 1960 did Tushino communicate with Moscow, the villages began to grow and a park was laid out here for people to relax. Later, the territory became part of Moscow, which greatly affected its attendance. Domestic cinema used this natural area for filming episodes of films.
Since 1992, the territory has been given the name "Northern Tushino Park of Culture and Leisure". Since 2013 it is againwaiting for transformation. The territory of the park was combined with the museum and memorial complex of the history of the fleet, and several more small park areas were added to them. Now the Northern Tushino Park has greatly increased in size and acquired historical significance.
Present
If you are going to explore its territory, you should prepare well. Comfortable shoes, a supply of drinking water and free time are a must, since the Severnoye Tushino park occupies 70 hectares. The southern part of the park is of interest to history buffs. There are beautiful alleys and the Museum of the Navy. It is worth visiting here, because nowhere else you will have the opportunity to visit a submarine, an ekranoplan and a boat. Please note that there are always a lot of people who want to, and up to 20 people are allowed on the tour, which takes place at certain hours. The rest are waiting for the release of the first group for several hours.
It is especially interesting that the tours are led by former military men who themselves sailed on submarines. You will be told many fascinating stories, anecdotes and army jokes. There is a gift shop here where you can buy something for yourself.
Immediately behind the museum, an orchard begins, here you can also go down to the reservoir. The alley leads to a small stage, here the Northern Tushino park welcomes guests. Events are often held in this charming corner, whether it be solo concerts by visiting artists, discos or lavish birthday parties. Having passedalong the left alley, you will get to the children's attractions, there are a lot of them. Directly from the stage there are areas with simulators for everyone. To the right - descent to the water.
Summer in the park
The coolness of shady alleys is very attractive in itself in the summer heat. But that's not all the park has to offer. Not so long ago, a wonderful beach was laid out here with sunbeds and umbrellas, changing rooms and showers. This wonderful recreation area lies on the shore of the reservoir, and on the pontoons, right on the surface of the water, there is a luxurious swimming pool with purified water and heating. Now you can go to the Northern Tushino park at least every day. The pool is great for swimming in any weather.
This is about passive recreation, but there are also suitable entertainments for sports lovers. Roller Park provides an opportunity to master this trendy sport. Running tracks are laid throughout the territory. Cycling fans were not spared either: unpopular alleys were given to them so as not to interfere with pedestrians.
Northern Tushino Park offers its visitors the rental of bicycles, roller skates, scooters and other sports equipment. How nice to go to the park with the whole family! A child can have fun on the playground, and adults can stretch their muscles and ride bicycles to their heart's content. Today it is the most popular sport after roller skating.

Winter in the park
A large skating rink is being poured on the site of the football field, its area is 800 square meters. For the convenience of visitors, there is a convenient platform for changing shoes, as well as a rental shop nearby. If you are taking your first steps, then a personal trainer is at your service. It will allow you to quickly get on skates with a minimum of injuries.
