"UIA", or "Ukraine International Airlines" is the most famous and largest Ukrainian airline, founded in 1992 as a closed joint stock company. Today it is one of the leaders in air transportation in this market. The share occupied by Ukraine International Airlines is estimated by specialists as exceeding 30%. Of particular note is the fact that this carrier was the first in the CIS to receive an international IOSA certificate and was included in the IATA register.
Route network
The company "International Airlines of Ukraine" is currently based at the airport in Kyiv "Borispol". It is from here that UIA operates the largest number of flights from Ukraine to Europe and the Middle East. There are also regular routes to Asia and the CIS. In addition to this, onbased on one hundred and twenty-six interline agreements, this air carrier cooperates closely with a large number of world airlines.
Thanks to an efficient docking system, UIA is able to offer more than three thousand different destinations for its passengers. Every week, Ukraine International Airlines operates more than seven hundred flights, connecting Ukrainian cities such as Donetsk, Odessa, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Simferopol, Lviv and Kharkov, with the capitals and major cities of the Middle East, CIS, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Air fleet and staff
The carrier's fleet includes thirty-four Boeing-type aircraft (in various configurations) as well as five narrow-body twin-engine Embraer aircraft. All of them undergo a mandatory quality and reliability test every year. In the same way, crew members of all aircraft are constantly sent to refresher courses.
Among other things, UIA has a special JAR-145 certificate. This document authorizes the air carrier to perform any kind of technical work aimed at servicing Boeing aircraft. Thanks to this, UIA employees have the right to repair both their own fleet of aircraft and aircraft of other companies.

Separately, it should be said about how internationalUkrainian Airlines, reviews of which are mostly only positive, takes care of its passengers. So, for example, this air carrier offers a special program of discounts and privileges for its regular customers. Participation in it is available to absolutely every passenger over the age of two.
