The islands of Cuba are famous for their nature reserves. One of them on the island of Cayo Coco is home to a population of about 30,000 flamingos. Even the most beautiful beach is named after them. The island is very unusual. It is connected to the central coast of Cuba by an artificial causeway. Here are mainly places of rest for those who want to stay alone with virgin nature for a while. But you can always change your mind and return to your old life, full of the noise of cars and the buzz of big cities. Some of the islands of Cuba are interconnected. So, from Cayo Coco on an artificial dam it is easy to get to Cayo Guillermo. Only 20 kilometers - and before the eyes of vacationers there is a small piece of land, 80 percent covered with green palm groves. Herethere are many rare birds and animals, and flocks of cheerful dolphins joyfully greet travelers from the water. This place is more like heaven on earth than a regular resort.
