How to get to the country
To get to the kingdom, you can use a car, train or plane. The bulk of tourists arrive in the country through Jordanian airports. Travelers from non-Arab countries are required to have a visa, which is issued upon arrival at the border points.

Aqaba Airport King Hussein
In 1972, the Aqaba airport (Jordan) was solemnly opened, and King Hussein became its first passenger, and the air hub was named in his honor. In the early 2000s, the main air terminal complex and auxiliary buildings were subjected to a general reconstruction. Today, this airport is the largest in the country and serves up to 130,000 passengers a year.
On the territory of the airport complex there is a branch of a local bank. Here, any tourist with a passport can take a small loan, get a credit card, open a deposit, replenish an account on a mobile phone, and also buy the latest press. The bank branch is open on weekdays from 9-00 to 20-00 local time.
On the second floor of the complex there is a waiting room for departing and vip-room. To enter the VIP room and use the services offered, you must pay 35 Jordanian dinars (approximately 46 euros).
At the Duty Free shop, located in the international departure area, you can buy traditional Jordanian souvenirs - homespun carpets, shisha, mosaics, Bedouin jewelry and much more. The shop is open withoutweekends from 8-00 am until the departure of the last flight.
Amman Airport
In 1983, another air harbor, named after the wife of King Hussein, Queen Alia, was added to the list of Jordan's International Airports. The country's important air hub serves more than 10 million people a year.
Amman Airport (Jordan) is the largest airport complex in terms of passenger traffic in the kingdom. Visitors pass through two terminals: the north (serves passengers of a local company) and the south (serves passengers of other airlines). In the near future, it is planned to reconstruct all terminals.
In the north terminal there is a vip-hall, which provides the following services: comfortable rooms with shower and toilet, if necessary, you can spend the night in the rooms. And also on the territory of the vip-hall there are cafeterias, free Internet and free press.
Those who do not want to use the services of the VIP-lounge spend their leisure time in a regular waiting room. There are three cafes, kiosks with fresh press, and if necessary, you can charge your phone. Showers are available for a fee.
