In 2005, the Domodedovsky district of the Moscow region was abolished. Next, the Domodedovo urban district was formed, which included all the settlements of the district (including the airport), and these are 150 settlements. The total number of inhabitants was 167,907 people, they live on 82 hectares. The administrative center of the district is the city of Domodedovo.

History of the city

In 1900, a railway station was opened (on the Moscow-Pavelets direction) called Domodedovo. At that time there was a village of the same name here. Mentions of the settlement are still in the spiritual charter of the 15th century. It is known that at that time it was the property of the Romanov family.

In 1898, active construction of factories and factories began in the village, alabaster-lime, brick and cement factories worked here. During the revolution and the civil war, enterprises did not work, but in the 20s of the last century, the restoration of industry began. A little more than 100 people lived in Domodedovo at that time, but there was already an elementary school here. In the summer season, the situation changed dramatically, as Muscovites came to the village for recreation. From the 1930s, new factories and cooperatives began to appear, and a secondary school was rebuilt.

After the war, the settlement turned into a city of regional subordination. In 1970, a cinema, libraries, clubs, the House of Pioneers and other infrastructure appeared in the city.

Economy and industry

Domodedovo City District shows fairly stable economic growth. As of the first quarter of this year, the economic turnover grew by 25.7%. In terms of growth in the volume of shipped goods, there is also an increase (by 95.6% compared to the same period last year). The district has consistently high wages, the average is over 40,000 rubles. The unemployment rate in the region is low, as of April 1, 2017, it was only 0.47%, while the total for the country was 5.8%.

There has been an increase in revenues from taxes and other fees by about 129.2%. 35% of the budget of the Domodedovo city district is formed by air transportation. For the first quarter of this year, passenger traffic increased by 4.4%.

Utilities and infrastructure

28 families were resettled from dilapidated housing only in the first quarter. In the Okrug, 479 potholes have been eliminated on public roads, and the construction of the Kashirskoye Shosse - Kiselikha village continues. The construction of kindergartens in the Yuzhny and Severny microdistrict continues. To eliminate the second shift in existing schools, the construction of two more is ongoing. Ecology

In the Domodedovo urban district, the environmental situation is favorable. A significant place in the economy of the region is occupied by enterprises engaged in the extraction of sand, clay and limestone. Because of this, the natural landscape was practically not preserved.

There are 173 enterprises on the territory of the district, which are sources of negative impact on the environment. The most dangerous is ZAO Domodedovagrostroy. The total stationary emission of harmful substances per year is 5,413,595 tons.

The county's main pollutants are carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide. Their share in the total statistics reaches 60%. The air and cars are heavily polluted. The main problem of the region is the lack of dust collection and gas cleaning installations in the territories of industrial enterprises and near highways.

There is a huge problem with unorganized discharges, which form about 150 local enterprises. There are about 3,111.772 tons of waste, most of which enters water bodies. Most industrial enterprises do not have storm sewers or sewage treatment.

There are a lot of unauthorized dumps in the urban district of Domodedovo, Moscow Region. On the right bank of the Pakhra River (not far from the city of Podolsk), the closed TBPO landfill carries a huge danger, the radiation background is increased here, because radioactive waste from a chemical plant is stored nearby. Local Authorities

Head of the Domodedovo urban district - Dvoinykh Alexander Vladimirovich. This is a young (born in 1984) specialist who graduated from Moscow State Technical University "MAMI" and RANEPA under the President of Russia.

He was elected to the post in March of this year, previously he was the head of the administration of the city district, a deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma. And from 2007 to 2012. worked as General Director of TFC ARKTUR LLC.

By the way, in November, the head of the district said that by the end of the year a system of separate waste collection would be introduced on the territory of Domodedovo. Special containers will be installed for now only near apartment buildings, the culture of separate waste disposal will be introduced in stages.

There are many projects in the long-term plans of the head of the district. Dvoinykh A. V. plans to help those houses that have united and keep them in order in landscaping the yards. And the head of the region wants to help by equipping yards, the territory near parking lots and entrances with video cameras.

The head of the district is actively attracting investors to the region. In November, a new restaurant of the Mgrillcafe food chain was opened, located on the 56th kilometer of the M-4 DON road.

Recently, Dvoinykh A. V. conferred with the chairmen of the SNT. The main topic of the meeting was the issue of fire safety, because over the past year there were 28 fires in which 2 people died.
