On the eve of the World Cup and due to the intensive growth of new microdistricts, by 2018 St. Petersburg acquired three bus stations and one bus station for a private cab driver. Comfortable buses depart from here for intercity, international and suburban flights:
- Central bus station on Obvodny Canal.
- Northern bus station in Devyatkino.
- Parnas bus station.
- Tourist flights from Ladoga railway station.
The oldest and busiest bus station is on the Obvodny Canal. The bus station on Parnassus also exists recently, as well as the microdistrict under construction in the district. Suburban minibuses and private tourist buses depart from Ladoga Station.
But the bus station in Devyatkino should be described separately - only this station has three names at once: Murino, Devyatkino, Severny.
Location
Located outside the Ring Road in the new urban area of Murino, the Devyatkino Northern Bus Station in St. Petersburg has been located on Privokzalnaya Square since 2005.
Getyou can take the metro, reaching the final station with the same name - "Devyatkino". Or by commuter trains to the railway station.
Both the subway and the railway platform are located at a distance of no more than 200 meters from the bus station.
The building itself is a bright two-story pavilion.
Directions
Buses depart from the square in front of the Devyatkino bus station, which was commissioned in autumn 2015.
Intercity flights leave from 9 aprons:
- Smolensk;
- Tikhvin;
- Vyazma;
- Pikalevo;
- Petrozavodsk;
- Boksitogorsk;
- Cherepovets;
- Vyborg;
- Kamenogorsk;
- Podporozhye;
- Stavropol Territory;
- Novgorod region;
- Kalmykia.
International flights to Bobruisk via Pskov, Nevel, Vitebsk, Mogilev. You can also leave here for Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Moldova.
Service
Judging by the reviews of travelers, services still leave much to be desired. Transport is not always delivered on time and sometimes not cleaned.
On the plus side, there is a left-luggage office, touchscreen terminals, a first-aid post, small cafes and amenities inside the building.
And yet, the company is developing. Comments are taken into account.
Advance sale of tickets starts two weeks and ends 5 minutes before departure.
There is50% discount for children from 5 to 12 years old. You only need to present a supporting document.
Working hours: from 06-30 to 21-30 daily.
The need to launch a new bus station has been brewing since the early 2000s, when the Murino area began to be actively built up. The acute shortage of transport links was relieved with the commissioning of the Devyatkino bus station.
But much remains to be done before the station takes on the form approved by the city planners and will help to finally solve the problem of international and intercity transport links of St. Petersburg in the northern direction.
