During the war years, the plant actively helped the army, for which it was later awarded state awards. During the war, the Eternal Flame monument was built. In the 1950s, active construction of two-story residential buildings began, which reduced the need for housing. Then they began to build five-story houses. Gradually, the area became more and more ennobled, new microdistricts appeared, highways were laid, and improvement work was carried out.
Infrastructure
In the heart of the district is the central square, which was named after Ivan Kiselyov, who headed GAZ for 25 years. During its work, specialized plants were built, GAZ turned into a leading enterprise in the country. Main roads flock to Kiseleva Squaredistrict.
