About the project and its creator

In 2003, the famous Argentine producer Ezequiel Pena had the idea to create an unusual paleontological museum. Perhaps he was inspired by the famous Spielberg films about Jurassic Park. Be that as it may, Pena got down to business and attracted famous paleontologists to work on his brainchild, who were supposed to help in creating the most realistic copies.prehistoric animals. First, for several years, the exposition was shown in Buenos Aires and other cities of Argentina, where it was very popular. Over time, the existence of such an interesting project became known abroad, and they began to invite him to demonstrate in different countries. Finally, in the winter of last year, the exposition was in Russia, it was seen by Muscovites and guests of the capital.

So, you can visit the exhibition on weekdays from noon to 22:00, and on weekends and holidays, its doors are open to visitors from 11:00 to 22:00. What kind of lizards can you see

The exhibition presents fossil reptiles, more than three dozen species. This is a miniature, compared to the rest, green pachycephalosaurus, and an iguanodon that lived in Europe, and quite a pretty Edmontosaurus. In addition, the “jungle” of the exhibition is home to a styracosaurus with a large parrot beak, a large ornithomim with a tiny head, a terrible feathered microraptor, a tojiangosaurus that once lived in the territory of modern China, and many other herbivorous and carnivorous creatures. Thus, it can be argued that almost all types of prehistoric dinosaurs known to man are represented in the “City of Dinosaurs”. At the same time, their appearance is not the fruit of someone's imagination, but the result of serious research by scientists, implemented by methodscomputer simulation based on skeletons found by archaeologists.

I must say right away that the place where the exhibition is located is quite far from the main entrance to the All-Russian Exhibition Center. If you decide to get to it on the territory of VDNKh on foot, then first you need to get to the pavilion "Ukraine" - a beautiful building with a spire topped with a star, and go around it on the right side. Then on your right will be a long low building made of glass and concrete - Pavilion 57.
