Bluebird Airways is a Greek airline that has recently entered the air travel market. Over the eight years of its existence, it has already managed to master Russian destinations and earn a good reputation among passengers.

About the air carrier

Bluebird is an airline from Greece. It was founded in 2008 in Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete. It was created with the aim of carrying out air transportation within the country, but after a while the airline entered the international market.

Three years later, the carrier received a Boeing 737-400 aircraft, which was previously operated by other airlines - Asiana Airlines and AirOne. By April 2013, the interior was reconstructed - the interior was changed and the passenger seats were changed.

Until 2011, the company operated American MD-83 aircraft. Then it was sold to SkyExpress, and in 2013 it returned to Bluebird Airlines again, but on leasing terms.

Now the air fleet consists of three Boeing 737-400 aircraft with a maximum carrying capacity of 159 people in one class of service. There are also two leasedaircraft MD-82 and one MD-83. Special attention is paid to the condition of airliners.

Bluebird is an airline based in Heraklion. The main activity is the implementation of regular and charter flights both within Greece and abroad.

• Israel-Tel Aviv;

• Turkey - Istanbul.
