In search of a clean and pleasant place, many residents of the Chelyabinsk region go to Lake Peschanoe, which is also called Shelomentsevo. Here you can relax quietly and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The recreation center "Yuzhny Bereg" (Shelomentsevo) offers its services so that guests can comfortably accommodate and fully immerse themselves in the long-awaited summer vacation.

Description of the lake

The reservoir is located in the Etkul region. The village of Shelomentsevo is located on the eastern shore, it was in honor of him that Peschanoe received its second name. The lake has an almost regular, rounded shape. It is small in size, only one and a half kilometers in diameter. The maximum depth can reach five meters, but mostly near the coast it is shallow. The bottom is mostly sandy, but in some places it is silted. Approximately half of the coast is overgrown with reeds, which is very popular with fishermen. A beautiful forest can be seen on the western and southern coasts.

The lake itself is surrounded by wild beaches,there is also more than one recreation center. Shelomentsevo sheltered swans, ducks and cranes in its waters and this makes it even more attractive. But many who come to these shores are interested in the Yuzhny Bereg camp site.

Description of base

The territory of the camp site includes a clean, well-groomed beach, a pond and a forest. The forest area is divided by road into two parts. On the one hand, there is a place for tourists with tents, on the other side there are cozy, new houses for a more comfortable stay. But regardless of which part the guests stay in, everyone likes this recreation center. Lake Shelomentsevo also pleases with its cleanliness, since both the reservoir and the territory are regularly cleared.

Accommodation at base

Two-story houses for several guests and one-story houses were built on the territory, which can accommodate two adults with a child (up to adolescence). Folding beds are also available. Guests can use refrigerators. Many people really like to relax on the veranda, where there are chairs and a table.

If guests arrive by car, they are allowed to park at their cabins.

Unfortunately, the recreation center (Shelomentsevo) does not allow pets to enter the territory.

You can also stay in a tent city and enjoy the benefits of civilization offered by the hostel.

Entertainment & Service

The recreation center (Shelomentsevo) provided a small shop on the territory. The sale has everything you might neednature. There is also a shower and a bath that guests of the camp site can use.

Since many vacationers come with children, there is a playground. On it you can find swings, sandboxes and ladders. There is also an additional children's area on the beach, where there is a water slide.

Discotheques are organized on weekends, and a huge bonfire is lit on the beach, which illuminates, warms and makes the rest exotic.

In addition, there are bonfire zones on the territory for guests of the base. In such special places, you can make a barbecue or cook a fish that you could catch in the lake.

Beach

The recreation center (Shelomentsevo) keeps its beach clean. There are also places for volleyball and mini-football. You can hide from the scorching sun under umbrellas. There are also sun loungers on the beach.

Catamaran and boat rentals organized.

In the evening, lanterns are lit, which illuminate the "South Shore". Often beach discos continue until three in the morning.

As already mentioned, on the lake there is an opportunity to catch fish on your own. To do this, you can take a boat and go to the center of the reservoir. Perch, crucian carp and even large carp are found in the waters. And if you like fishing, then you can come to the lake in winter and try to catch ripus.
