But the trip on them will be long - up to several days, so vacationers from abroad do not want to waste precious time on the road.

Tourist's paradise

The island of Cape Verde - and that is how this corner of the planet is usually called, has wonderful opportunities for recreation. The sea here is very good - warm, clean, gentle all year round. Very wide beaches with fine golden sand conquer at first sight. And lovers of the exotic will love the black beaches strewn with dark sand of volcanic origin.

Gourmets of Cape Verde Island will treat you with huge fish and seafood dishes. Portions in Cape Verde are also very large. Meat is served in restaurants, although cattle breeding is poorly developed here due to adverse climatic conditions. But there are more than enough vegetables and fruits in the markets.

Mass tourism

There are very few visitors to the archipelago, although tourism is actively developing there: about thirty thousand come here a yearpeople who stay in cozy modern hotels (there are even four-star hotels). Cape Verdians are hospitable and polite, but they expect guests to respect the rules of decency. Here you will not actually encounter a conflict of cultures, an exceptionally friendly atmosphere, better than at home.

Lunar landscape

But this piece of paradise off the African coast is fraught with danger. Not from sharks, no. They rarely attack humans. There is a very bright and hot sun and a strong fresh wind. And although it seems that the heat is quite bearable, you can get sunburned on the beaches very soon.

Cabo Verde is a desert with a characteristic landscape (lunar) and only half of one island will please with a little greenery. The wet season here begins in August, and then the barren sands are reincarnated. Rains and hurricanes rage until October, and then the islands turn into a desert again.
