The capital of Russia is a huge city that is getting bigger every year. There are enough parks within the city, but they are all surrounded by industrial or residential buildings - this makes it difficult to fully plunge into the atmosphere of relaxation. This problem can be solved by visiting rest houses in the Moscow region, for example, you can visit Flora Park.

Location

The base is located in the south-west of the Moscow region, in the Solnechnogorsk region. Not far from the park is the famous Istra reservoir, which was built in the 17th century. Full address of the base: Solnechnogorsk district, Trusovo village.

Ways to get there

You can get to the park on your own using your own car. To do this, you need to go from the Moscow Ring Road to Pyatnitskoye Highway, and then head towards Solnechnogorsk. Approximately after one hour drive there will be a gas station "Rosneft" on the left, after which you will see a sign towards the village of Sokolovo. Before leavingfrom the village you need to turn left onto a country road that leads to the village of Trusovo. And after 3 km you will reach the gates of "Flora Park".

To travel by public transport, you need to get from Moscow to the Kryukovo station. This station is located in the city of Zelenograd. From the station "Kryukovo" to the village of Trusovo can be reached by bus number 403 without transfers. Bus number 497 will take you to the village of Sokolovo, from where you can reach the park in 20 minutes. Buses to Solnechnogorsk leave daily from the Voykovskaya metro station, from where bus 497 runs to the village of Sokolovo.

Attractions

There are many attractions in Solnechnogorsk, but it takes more than 30 minutes to get to the city by bus. This is what makes tourists uncomfortable. But those who decide to go on a short trip can look at the ancient architecture of the city's buildings. Nikolskaya Church, which was built at the end of the 19th century, deserves special attention. The temple was built in the old Russian style, with several domes and a huge bell tower. The church is built of red brick, decorated inside with paintings based on scenes from the life of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The Church of the All-Merciful Savior was built in the middle of the 18th century, by order of the owner of the village of Sloboda. The brick building was built in the old baroque style. The frame system of the temple combines two floors: the first floor received pilgrims of the Smolensk Mother of God. On the secondfloor are icons of the All-Merciful Savior.

The city is located in a picturesque place: the outskirts of the city are washed by Senezhskoye Lake, in the center the Catherine Canal flows. In November 1947, a memorial to "Defenders of the Fatherland" was opened on Sovetskaya Square in honor of the fallen soldiers. Not far from the city is the estate of A. A. Block, which was reconstructed in 2001. Currently, the museum of the poet is open here.

Istra reservoir

This is one of the largest and at the same time the oldest reservoirs in the Moscow region. It was created at the beginning of the last century for the water supply of the capital. The basis of the reservoir is a dam on the Istra River, built in the small village of Rakovo. Vacationers in the "Flora Park" can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the area, crystal clear water and attractive temperate climate. The only drawback of the river is that Istra does not have access to the open sea.

The area of the reservoir has long been chosen by experienced fishermen. There are few recreation centers and guest houses on the banks of the river, so they return here every year with a good catch. Predatory fish are well caught: ide, crucian carp, pike. As well as small roach, ruff, many different types of perch.

Recreation center "Flora Park"

Located in the thick of a coniferous forest, on the banks of the Istra River. On the base you can live in cozy guest houses, cottages and in the main building of the hotel. Only two guest houses: for 12 and 14 people. Each of them is a two-story woodena building equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets. Each bedroom has single or double beds. On the ground floor of the houses there is a TV room, a swimming pool, a billiard room, a kitchen. The cost of living in a guest house is 28 thousand rubles per night.

Family cottages are located on the banks of the river and are designed for 8 people. The house has 4 bedrooms with beds and TV. The price of one night will be 10 thousand rubles. There are about 50 economy class rooms in the main building. The cost of living varies from 2 to 5 thousand rubles.

On the territory of the recreation center "Flora Park" in Trusovo there are many opportunities for entertainment: a boat station, a sauna, billiard rooms, summer pavilions, a sports ground, a stage for performances and a banquet hall. The price includes meals in the dining room "Flora Park". For a fee, guests are provided with gazebos with barbecue facilities for self-cooking.

The administration of the recreation center provides services for weddings, birthdays, corporate parties, concerts, anniversaries, weekends in the suburbs.
