Why go to Kurgan?

The city is not very interesting. Its museum fund is inferior to all its neighbors (Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen), except for Petropavlovsk, which is located in Kazakhstan.

Typical museums worth visiting: local history and art, as well as the Decembrists and Aviation Museum.

In summer you can ride a children's railway train at the Central Park of Culture and Culture.

Slightly south of Kurgan is an ostrich farm with a petting zoo.

From this little-known regional center you can go to the village of Chastoozerye, which is interesting not only for its lakes, but alsomajestic cathedral and monuments to Yesenin and Russia.
