An amazing natural object located in the south of Primorsky Krai - Nazimov Spit. This rather popular place among those who like to relax in the summer away from noisy cities is a long strip of sandy land with an average width of about a hundred meters and a length of about five kilometers. At its widest point, the spit reaches a width of more than two hundred meters, and at its narrowest - about fifty.

The spit is almost entirely located very low above sea level, and only its very end is framed by a series of low rocks. One of the most remarkable is a thirty-one-meter-high peak of gray cracked stone, surrounded by reefs, located to the northeast of the Nazimov Spit, at its very end.

Location

Khasansky district, where the Nazimov Spit is located in Primorskyregion, is the most remote southern region of this region. It borders China and North Korea. This is the "junction of three borders", as it is also called. In particular, the Nazimov Spit is located twenty kilometers northeast of the nearest Russian-Chinese border, and the southernmost settlement of the Russian Far East, the urban-type settlement of Khasan, is only thirty kilometers along the highway.

A local landmark of Primorsky Krai, Nazimov Spit separates two bays from each other: Expedition Bay, which is located on the western side of the spit, and Reid Pallada Bay, from the east. From the northern, rocky tip of the spit, you can see the village of Posyet and the mouth of Novgorodskaya Bay.

Rest on the Nazimov Spit in Primorsky Krai: description and bases

Nazimov Spit is an ideal place for swimming and fishing. The coast is covered with pebbles and sand, and rudd is found in the sea. Of considerable interest to lovers of outdoor recreation are places near the Nazimov Spit: lakes with brackish water, on which lotus grows, as well as snakehead and crucian carp. Therapeutic mud, impeccably clean in terms of ecology and beneficial to he alth, is rich in the Expedition Bay adjacent to the Nazimov Spit. There are strong waves on the spit itself, but this does not prevent the existence of numerous recreation centers for tourists on it. Recreation centers are localizedmainly on the coast of Reid Pallada Bay, let's take a closer look at some of them.

Tikhaya Recreation Center

On the territory of the base there are four-, three- and two-bed houses, located at a distance of ten meters from the sea, some houses have their own kitchen. Free parking is available for guests arriving with their own vehicle. All amenities are available: hot and cold water supply, showers and a toilet on the territory of the base. There are also separate pavilions with barbecue facilities.

It is not forbidden to bring animals with you. There is a great opportunity to go fishing on a nearby freshwater lake and, if you wish, visit the Marine Reserve as part of an excursion organized by the base. Of the minuses: food is not provided, there are no canteens, so the vacationers themselves need to take care of the food.

Recreation center "Pearl"

Another recreation center, located on the Nazimov Spit in the Primorsky Territory, Zhemchuzhina, provides its guests with fifteen triple houses with attached shady canopies, each of which has electricity. Water, both hot and cold, is suitable for showering, and it is not recommended to drink it, so it is better to get drinking water in the store on the territory of the base, where you can also buy the necessary food or bring it in canisters with you. Meals are organized independently: a newly built kitchen with all necessary equipment is at the disposal of vacationers.

If there is a desire to bring animals, it is better to agree on this in advance with the administration of the base. Ordering excursions is available, as well as seafood delivery. The price for one house per day in the summer of 2017 ranged from 1,500 rubles to 2,800 rubles depending on the month (more expensive in August).

Recreation center "Marble"

Arriving at the "Marble" base, you can choose where to stay: there are ordinary wooden houses, and there are houses made of sandwich panels, all of them have an area of twelve square meters. The first according to the number of residents are divided into two- and three-bed, and the second - into three- and four-bed. The houses are modern, with plastic windows and blinds, inside they are furnished with everything you need. Just like in the "Pearl", electricity is available around the clock, but the outlets in the houses can only be used for devices with low power.

It is interesting that the base has a sauna, a bar, a playground and a volleyball field. It is possible to rent a boat for boat trips or any other swimming facility (boat with oars, scooter). Standard entertainment such as hunting, fishing, field trips to bird markets or fur seal rookeries are present. From extreme: parachuting behind a boat or a quad bike. The cost of the house is 2,000 rubles per day.

Other bases

A nursery for rabbits, birds and pigs, as well as billiards and ping-pong, trampolines andwater attractions as entertainment are provided to vacationers on the Nazimov Spit in the Primorsky Territory by the Reid Pallada recreation center. The base "Unforgettable vacation on Nazimov's Spit" has its own dining room, but this does not deprive guests of the opportunity to cook their own meals. The base also organizes excursions to nearby islands, stone grottoes and caves.

Opinions and reviews

Reviews about the Nazimov Spit in Primorsky Krai are generally positive. One of the shortcomings that people who have been there point out is the lack of fresh water sources, but this problem is easily solved, since twice a day a car passes through the entire spit and delivers drinking water, which can be purchased with clean containers.

As many people note, the Nazimov Spit is long enough to accommodate a huge number of vacationers, so there is no problem finding a place to park or spend the night if you go "savages".

From the abundance of rave reviews about the place, we can conclude that it is really worth it to go there. It is repeatedly mentioned in the reviews that sand is almost everywhere on the spit, and the closer to the rocks at the end, the more it is. Warm water and absolutely clean, shallow sea, which is especially good for children. There are almost no waves on one side of the spit, and on the other, there are ships and the surf is sometimes quite strong. According to some, the violent sea wind interferes, but it is alsohelps out in extreme heat. And getting into a typhoon on the Nazimov Spit is a dangerous business.

How to get there

The road from the regional center, the city of Vladivostok, to the Nazimov Spit takes about five hours. The distance between points is about three hundred kilometers. In order to get to the place from Vladivostok, you need to leave the city on a low-water bridge to the De Vries peninsula, follow the M60 highway to the Razdolnoye settlement, and then turn left onto the A189 highway. Already in the Khasansky district, not far from Lake Swan, there is a left turn onto the road along the coast, which leads to the spit. There is a pointer to Nazimov's spit. Also, regular bus No. 528 runs from Vladivostok to the village of Kraskino, from where you can take a taxi to your destination. By bus, you can get from the regional center or the city of Ussuriysk to the village of Posyet, from which a water taxi runs to the Nazimov Spit.
