Traveling on intercity buses is one of the most affordable and convenient ways to get around. If you decide to go on a trip through the territory of Belarus, and the path will run through the capital of this state, information about where the bus stations of Minsk are located will be very useful.
East Bus Station
The bus station is located in the southeastern part of the city. The decision to build it arose as a result of the fact that the Minsk Central Bus Station could not cope with the huge passenger traffic in the 70s. For the implementation of the project, a site was allocated at the intersection of Rokossovsky Avenue with Vaneeva Street. In 1983, the bus station was commissioned. It has hotel rooms and a catering facility.
Chart:
- Monday to Friday starts at 5:20 and ends at 1:30;
- on weekends open from 5:20, closes at 23:30.
It is located at: st. Vaneeva, 34.
From the bus station, buses depart daily for variousroutes:
- 8 - international traffic;
- 114 – intercity.
To get here, you need to go by public transport to the bus stop "Vostochny Bus Station". The following routes go in this direction:
- trolleybuses No. 49, 41, 41d, 36, 30, 30n, 15, 19;
- buses: No. 55, 2c, 118; 93 and 84.
Central Bus Station
This is the largest bus station in Minsk. It is located in the city center, next to the railway station.
Its opening took place in 1962. In the summer of 2007, the bus station was closed for reconstruction. The old building was demolished and a new bus station was erected in its place. Reconstruction work lasted until 2011.
Complex structure includes:
- Premises for technical purposes and luggage storage. They are located in the basement level.
- The ticket office and the waiting room for passengers are located on the first floor.
- The Galileo shopping complex occupies the third floor and part of the first. There is a cinema, several bars, a restaurant and a cafe here.
- Car parking for 500 cars.

The schedule of the bus station is around the clock. Buses depart from here to various destinations:
- suburban transport – 33 flights;
- international routes - 20 destinations;
- intercity flights - 114 flights.

Other bus stations
Central and Vostochny are not the only bus stations in Minsk.
There are three more stations serving commuter routes:
- Slavinsky bus station. Working hours from 6 am to 11 pm. Location: st. Slavinsky, 18.
- Avtozavodskaya bus station. Open daily from 6 am to 10 pm. Address: 148 Partizansky Ave.
- South-West bus station. Buses leave from here to the suburbs located in the south and south-west direction from the capital. The bus station is open from 5:45 to 22:00. Location: st. Zheleznodorozhnaya, 41 building 1.
