Yubileyny Sports Palace (Tver) was opened in 1983. Until then, the only significant sports facility in the city was the Khimik football stadium.

Modern Sports Palace
Today, the Yubileiny Sports Palace (Tver) occupies an area of 60,000 m². Of these, 23,000 m² are reserved for rooms for administrators, coaches, guests, as well as locker rooms, showers, etc.
At the moment the sports complex has two ice arenas. The main one is equipped with stands for two thousand people with an area of 1713 m². Hockey and figure skaters train here, as well as major events: hockey matches, figure skating championships, mass skating.
The second arena, opened in 2008, occupies a smaller area, has balconies for spectators and is mostly used as a practice room.
Sports complex "Jubilee" has halls for fitness, choreography and a gym. In addition to the athletes involved here, everyone can visit them for a fee.
There is also a game room in the complex. Volleyball and basketball players train here. The hall is equipped with tribunes for 350 spectators and competitions in the named sports games are held.
Not so long ago, facilities for martial arts were put into operation, which allowed to increase the number of people involved in sports.

The Golden Puck hockey competition of the Central Federal District is held annually with the support of Vladislav Tretiak, children's hockey competitions for the prize of Ilya Kovalchuk, a youth hockey tournament in memory of Mikhail Krug.
