Facts from history

Lake Shitovskoye was a favorite place for spending leisure time for citizens in ancient times. Various officials and secretaries of the regional committee often came here for fishing. One of them decided to build an elite holiday village on this reservoir and lay a road here. As a result, beautiful towers surrounded by chic gardens have "grown" on Repnom Island.

After that, a kitchen, stables and houses for servants were built on the lakeshore. Check-in to this village was possible only with passes; for ordinary people, access there was closed. In this form, this place existed until 1937, until its founder was arrested.

After these events, these dachas were no longer used only by representativesauthorities, and during the Second World War there was an orphanage. In the fifties of the last century, all the buildings were destroyed by fire and were never rebuilt.

To do this, you need to take a bus that goes from Yekaterinburg to Verkhnyaya Pyshma, and then transfer to a minibus, the path of which runs along the Verkhotursky tract, past the lake and the village of B altym, and the final stop is the village of Krasny Adui. From this settlement you need to go to the lake on foot. A substation and a pioneer camp can serve as a guide, after which there is a direct asph alt road to the reservoir.

You can also use private vehicles. In order to get to the lake in this way, you will need to leave Yekaterinburg in the direction of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and get to the village of B altym, and then, in front of the village of Krasny Adui, turn left near the sign with the inscription "Shitovskoye". Next, an asph alt path will go, which will lead travelers to the lake itself.
