JSC IrAero Airlines is a Russian company founded in 1999. The main activity of the company is cargo and passenger air transportation from the cities of Siberia and the Far East to the regions of Russia, as well as near and far abroad. Base airports are Magadan, Novosibirsk and Yakutsk.

History of the airline "IrAero"

The company was established in 1999. At that time, the aircraft fleet consisted of only two domestic An-24 aircraft, which were leased. Since then, the air fleet has been constantly replenished and now has more than 20 aircraft. The company entered the Russian air transportation market by April 2006.

In 2011, the Rosaviation agency compiled a rating of the most punctual Russian carriers, the top ten of which included the IrAero company. In 2013, the airline signed an agreement for the supply of the latest Russian aircraft of the MS-21 type with the Irkut enterprise. Aircraft deliveries will start in 2019.

Since 2014, the company has implemented a "Web registration" system forpassengers. In addition to air transportation, IrAero is engaged in aerial photography and search and rescue operations on its aircraft.

Fleet

The aircraft fleet of the airline is represented by 25 aircraft of the following types:

• 9 An-24 units for 44-48 passenger seats;
• 8 An-24 units for 42 passenger seats;
• 5 CRJ-200 units for 50 passenger seats;
• 3 Sukhoi Superjet 100 for 95 passenger seats.

The aircraft fleet is relatively outdated, but there has never been an accident or disaster in the history of the company. The company's management is actively engaged in the problem of aircraft fleet modernization. By 2022, it will be replenished with 10 MS-21 aircraft.

Performance indicators

In 2012, IrAero (airline) carried about 200 thousand passengers, which is 130% more than in 2010, and compared to 2011 delivered 126% more cargo. More than 6,800 flights were made in 2012.

In 2013, more than 200,000 air passengers were transported, and 331,390 tons of cargo and mail were delivered.

In 2014, from the beginning of the year until September, more than 200,500 passengers were transported, more than 2,000 tons of mail and cargo were delivered, and more than 7,000 regular and seasonal flights were performed.

Over the 17 years of operation of the enterprise, the geography of flights has expanded significantly. Transportation from the base airports is carried out in the followingitems:

• To China - Dalian, Manchuria, Hailar, Harbin, Jiamusi;
• To the CIS countries - Baku, Bishkek, Tashkent;
• In Russia - Anapa, Batagai, Belaya Gora, Blagoveshchensk, Bodaibo, Vladivostok, Gelendzhik, Deputatsky, Yekaterinburg, Keperveem, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Lensk, Moma, Nizhnevartovsk, Novy Urengoy, Noyabrsk, Omolon, Omsk, Omsukchan, Rostov-on-Don, Sakkyryr, Samara, Saskylakh, Seymchan, Sochi, Suntar, Ulan-Ude, Ust-May, Khabarovsk, Chita, Chokurdakh, Evensk.

Social Policy

"IrAero" is an airline that regularly organizes various contests and charity events. Children from orphanages, orphanages and social adaptation centers are always invited to attend. For children, interesting excursions around the international airport of Irkutsk, drawing competitions, and various sports competitions are regularly organized. The carrier is also actively cooperating with the MIRaero charity children's foundation.

IrAero is an airline operating in the passenger and cargo transportation market for 17 years. Flights are carried out from the Far East and Siberian regions across Russia and to the countries of near and far abroad. Over the years of its existence, the company has established itself as a punctual air carrier. Undoubtedly, there are both pluses and minuses in the work. The main disadvantage of IrAero is a relatively old fleet. However, it will be significantly updated in the near future. The management of the airline is continuously working to improve the quality of services provided and expand the route network.
