Water park exhibits
A visit to the H2o water park in Tallinn solves two problems at once. The first is a great pastime, and the second is learning while playing. The territory of the water park is divided into two zones: water and land. All exhibits are mostly placed on or under water.
Near the very entrancevisitors can get acquainted with the amazing exhibition. The exposition tells what water is, what forms of water there are, and whether there is water in space. Guests can then watch an animated hologram of the waterfall and learn why waterfalls form.
Water games:
- "Body weight". Visitors can experience the law of Archimedes, according to which the mass of a body immersed in a liquid is equal to the mass of the displaced liquid.
- "Daily water intake." This game is interesting for young visitors as it teaches how much water a person uses every day. Children can use a hand pump, they need to fill containers of various sizes and shapes, which represent the types of water consumption. Thanks to this game, guests get an answer to the question of how much water is actually used for human needs, and how much is wasted.
- "Physics of waves". The exposition gives an opportunity to evaluate the height of the waves and your own swimming skills.
- "Thunderstorm, rain and wind." You can learn how to behave on the water during extreme weather conditions.
- "Make a wave". The exhibition allows the visitor to experiment with the creation of waves, and at the same time learn how waves form in nature.
Teaching Exposures
"Water Physics" is an exhibition that describes the appearance of a tornado and its consequences. The visitor can play a game of creating a whirlwind, as well as explore images of a tornado and itsdevastating consequences.
"The development of life in water". This exhibition describes the emergence and development of life in water. And playing trackball shows how the first plants and animals appeared.
The geyser exhibition tells about where the geysers came from, where they are and how high they rise.
Water Ball teaches visitors how different levels of water can make different sounds.
"Technology and water". In this zone of the H20 water park, exhibits are collected that show different technologies: from electricity generation to the operation of water transport. A mock-up of a hydroelectric power plant allows the turbine nozzles to be controlled to control the flow of water.
