Blagoveshchensk Airport is one of the major transport hubs in the East Siberian region. Thanks to its operation, regular flights between the Siberian and Far Eastern regions are provided.

General information

The Blagoveshchensk airport also has a different name - Ignatievo, since it is located 15 km from the settlement of the same name in the Amur Region.

The construction of the complex was completed in 1997, and a year later, regular maintenance of Il-62 aircraft was established. For a long time, only this type of aircraft was serviced.

In 2002, the route network increased, and in 2003 a reorganization was carried out. The annual passenger traffic was no more than 120,000 people. The company begins to actively develop during this period.

The new terminal building was put into operation already in 2010, which greatly influenced the increase in throughput. By 2011, the runway lighting equipment was replaced and a fueling terminal was built.

Today, the airport complex is designed to serve 300 passengers per hour. The runway is made of asph alt concrete, its dimensions are2800 × 45 m. There are parking lots for 44 aircraft on the territory of the airfield. The airfield complex can accommodate aircraft of almost all major Soviet types, as well as Airbus 319-321, Boeing 737, 767, 757, Cessna, DHC, Sukhoi, Bombardier.

Blagoveshchensk Airport: how to get there

To travel to the airport, you can use a taxi or a private car. Near the airport there is parking for 200 cars. Parking is free.

You can use buses:

8 - from the center of Blagoveshchensk - "Univermag" stop, total travel time - about 50 minutes, ticket price - 17 rubles;
10 - also from"Department store", travel time - about half an hour, ticket price - 19 rubles

Pre-school children travel free of charge.
