It is known that JSC "International airport Sheremetyevo" sold the International Airport of Vladivostok (Knevichi) to the World Investment Consortium. It includes the Direct Investment Fund of Russia (RDIF), the Basic Element group, the operator of air hubs Changi Airports International. It is known that Vladivostok International Airport did not change the flight schedule after these actions.

The agreement included 100% of the shares of Vladivostok Air Terminal CJSC, which manages and owns the terminal building of the air hub, and 52.16% of Vladivostok International Airport JSC. RDIF, CAI and Basic Element control equal parts of the shares - 33.3% each.

The agreement was signed under the supervision of Deputy Shanmugaratnam Tharman (Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore) and First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov following a meeting of the intergovernmental Singaporean-Russian working group. An agency source in the Russian delegation said that the amount of the agreement was about 6 billion rubles.
