The depressed regional air gate has managed to slightly increase passenger traffic, but the number of cargo flights here is greatly reduced. Today, the director of Yaroslavl (Tunoshna) airport is Anatoly Kozlov. It is he, along with his updated team, who is trying to breathe a second life into the air hub. The basic strategic task that the government of the Yaroslavl region set for the team is to bring the heavenly gates of Yaroslavl to operational break-even, to achievewhich is possible only through the development of the air harbor, its route network, the transition to a continuous operation mode, the modernization of the airfield infrastructure, and the start of international flights.
