Here you can not only enjoy the masterpieces of sacred art, but also pray, light a candle for he alth and just find peace of mind.
In addition to the above, I would like to add that the island of Cyprus, Nicosia in particular, is also famous for its huge number ofcozy cafes and shops.
As befits a capital city, Nicosia is well connected with other cities in Cyprus by different modes of transport. Therefore, we can safely consider it a good starting point for further expeditions. However, it is worth considering that the city is considered the capital of two states - the Republic of Cyprus and the unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and their border runs with a green line exactly in the middle. For local residents, this is a painful reminder of the terrible conflicts that occur on this basis, but for tourists, this is another interesting attraction. Which, however, may soon disappear, as active negotiations are underway on this matter.
