United Arab Emirates is a highly demanded tourist destination. It attracts travelers from different countries with snow-white beaches, dry and hot climate, futuristic architecture of its cities, as well as shopping. But what about holidays with children? Shopping tires little tourists, and the beaches get bored with their monotony. Given all this, the UAE authorities are building water parks at resorts. And what! To match the architectural masterpieces like the hotel "Burj Al Arab" or the Palm Islands. The maximum dose of adrenaline is provided to you, and besides, complete safety is observed. Today we will talk about Wild Wadi. This water park is not the largest in the country, but the most breathtaking. Little guests, and adults (those who are young at heart) will get a lot of impressions here.
Where is it located and when does it work
Wadi is the name of the river that fills with water, onlywhen it rains. And the rest of the time it is a dry gorge. "Wild River" - this is literally the name of the Wild Wadi water park, Dubai (UAE). This island of water pleasures is located in the Jumeirah area, on Jumeirah Road. Numerous photos of the water park show a beautiful high-rise building resembling a sail. This is the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. By the way, the guests of this hotel, as well as all guests of the Jumeirah Group hotels (Burj Al Arab, Madinat, Emirates Towers), enter the water park for free. Guests staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel can drive up to the gates of Wild Wadi by buggy. The rest can take a taxi. It will cost about 5-7 Є. Every taxi driver in Dubai knows where Wild Wadi (water park) is located. Alternatively, you can use bus number 8. Its route starts in the Golden Souq (Gold Souk) in Deira and follows the coast of Jumeirah. The water park is open seven days a week, but opening and closing hours vary depending on the season. In summer, guests can enjoy the attractions and pools from 10.00 to 20.00, and in winter from 11.00 to 18.00.
Overall impression
Wild Wadi Water Park, whose photos fascinate with its dynamics, is located on an area of only five hectares. This is far from a record holder among similar establishments in the UAE. But it captivates with its more modern equipment, well-thought-out themes of attractions and guaranteed safety. We can say that this water park is the most expensive project in the Emirates. And the most terrible. stormemotions, an adrenaline rush and a sea of positive will be received here by everyone without exception. The attractions are united by a common theme - the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor. But each of them has its own legend. The magical "Wild River Wadi" will carry you along its stormy waves past rocks and oases. The guests of the park are waiting for joyful screeching, rafting, diving into the azure waters of the pools and even surfing on the steep ocean waves.
Wild Wadi Water Park Prices
As in all advanced cultural recreation establishments, Wild Wadi has a flexible pricing policy. Regular admission costs AED 130 for adults and AED 110 for children (4-12 years old). Translated into European currency, this equals approximately 27.6 and 23.4 Є, respectively. But if you come to the water park "at sunset", then pay 100 dirhams for an adult and 85 for a child. This corresponds to 21 and 18 Є. The concept of "at sunset" changes depending on the season. In winter, this is three hours before closing, that is, from 15 to 18.00. If you suddenly forgot your bathing suits, beach shoes or sunblock at home, these things can be purchased at the "medieval bazaar" in the park. And renting a towel will cost you ten dirhams (2.1 euros). The same is the cost of using a locker for storing especially valuable things. When buying a ticket, a wristband is put on your wrist, which contains a waterproof electronic card. You can put any amount on it and then pay with it for food, souvenirs and individual attractions. Unused money will be returned to you uponexit. If you visit the water park again, you will get a discount.
Rides
Through the entire territory of the water park flows the 360 m long artificial river Juha's Journey, which makes unexpected turns, forms lagoons and even creates a waterfall eighteen meters high. There are twenty-eight slides of different lengths - from 12 to 130 meters, and 23 more swimming pools, including those with an ocean wave. The total length of the entire water artery, tangled like a labyrinth, is almost two kilometers. The water temperature in both winter and summer is maintained at +28 °C. The main attraction that attracts visitors to the water park in Dubai Wild Wadi is the Jumeirah Sceirah attraction. It is the highest water slide in the Old World - 33 meters! Moreover, it is replete with all sorts of turns, and the raft with a passenger at the end of the journey reaches a speed of 80 km / h. For those who feel like it too much, you can ride the Master Blaster, eight slides connected by a single tube, from which you leave on one- and two-seat laps.
Holidays with children
It should be noted right away that little visitors are not allowed on some rides. They are sifted out by height, comparing the child with a scale on the wall: if it is above 110 centimeters, it passes, if it is below, it doesn’t. But Wild Wadi (water park) takes care of the leisure of its youngest guests. Especially for them, a shallow lagoon Juha's Dhow with a ship lying aground is equipped. Many fountains, slides and waterfalls will not scarepeanut, and will delight him. Nearby there is a children's playground with amusing swings-carousels. If your little kid is one of the brave ten, welcome to the Family Ride - rafting on a large inflatable raft. There is also the lazy Lazy River, which flows lazily throughout the park.
Wild Wadi (water park): reviews
Most of all, the visitors liked the fact that you don't have to puff up long stairs to the top, then slide down the hill for a minute. You will be taken to the top of the attraction by a special device - "a waterfall flowing in reverse." It all looks like this: you get on the raft and the rescuers push it to the pipe. Special nozzles push water under pressure upwards, moving you too.
The guests also remembered the pools with artificial surf. Waves sometimes reach up to 2.5 meters. This is where you can safely surf, because about fifty lifeguards are constantly watching the vacationers. Also, visitors happily noted the fact that, in addition to Shahbandar's Quay snack market, Sinbad's Galley snack bar and Julshan's Kitchen restaurant, there are many picnic spots on the territory of the water park. So you can stock up on provisions and go there for the whole day.
