Nha Trang is Vietnam's most famous seaside resort town and is the center of scuba diving in the country. The resort is very popular with tourists who go to the beach early in the morning or late in the evening, and spend the whole day enjoying various attractions.
Monsoon season - from October to mid-December. The sea wind brings a noticeable coolness, and sometimes the weather can deteriorate significantly. Summer in Nha Trang attracts many vacationers, then hotel rooms are more difficult to find. If Vietnam were a little closer to us, the flow of tourists to this interesting country would increase several times. But even now there are lovers of Asian exoticism and unusual cuisine who come to the coast.
Nha Trang beaches
The city's main beach is located south of the Kai River and is about six kilometers long. It is decorated with a beautiful and well-groomed embankment with walking paths, a park area, sculptures and places for recreation. The beach itself is quite wide and sandy. The sea on the coast is calm, which is very convenient for swimming. Nha Trang is one of the most beautiful beaches in SoutheastAsia.
Bai Duong Beach is located north of the Cai River. This is a beautiful and cozy place, but the impression is slightly spoiled by the nearby sewer channels. The beach is popular with Vietnamese holidaymakers, so during the day it is completely empty. There are several seafood restaurants nearby that cater to Vietnamese tourists.
Hon Chong Beach is located among the rocks. Tourists can climb to the top and admire the nearby islands from there. Entrance to the beach is paid.
There are some beautiful beaches on Hon Tre Island, but they are only available to guests of the Vinpearl Resort. The exception is the small beach in front of the water park, which can be visited by ticketed guests. The beach provides water sports services and a Russian restaurant.
Beaches outside the city
Doc Let Beach is a beautiful long beach north of Nha Trang. Local fishing families prepare delicious meals here at an affordable price. The most convenient part of the beach is the one closest to the resort hotels. The remaining sites, unfortunately, are littered with rubbish thrown by local residents.
Long Beach - located in Cam La and Cam Ranh areas. Upscale resorts are being built along the coast. The beach is nice to walk around, although litter can be just as much of a problem as on the previous beach. It is especially plentiful in areas remote from hotels.
There are several other beaches around Nha Trang. Approximately 30 kilometers from the city, a small peninsula opens intoSouth China Sea. There are small hotels here, and the beaches have white sand and tall palm trees. You can get to the beach from Nha Trang by taxi or passing bus.
Budget vacation
There are many cheap hotels in Nha Trang that cost less than $20 a night, almost all of them are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, cable TV. Most of them also have Internet access, if not in the rooms, then in the lobby.

- Ha Tram Hotel is a mini-hotel close to the beach and main tourist sites in a quiet and safe place. All rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water, cable TV, Internet and refrigerator. The hotel has 15 rooms on 6 floors and is equipped with an elevator. The cost starts from 570 rubles.
- Khách Sạn Hồng - six floors with an elevator. Free and good wifi. It was noticed in the reviews of tourists that the staff accused the guests of damaging the room.
- Nha Trang Inn & Suites is located near the beach and offers free coffee, internet access and cable TV.
- Pho Bien Hotel is a newly renovated mini-hotel. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, cable TV, refrigerator and internet access. Breakfast buffet is available for an additional fee.

- Nha Trang Lodge Hotel - The hotel is located in the center of nightlife. The rooms have free Internet, refrigerator and mini-bar, satellite TV. There is a café in the lobby serving coffee and fruit juices. Price per night - from 1500 rubles.
- "Golden Hotel Nha Trang" is a nice and cozy hotel near the sea, located in the center of the European quarter. Guests can walk to shopping and entertainment centers. In reviews of the Golden Hotel Nha Trang, tourists recommend visiting the hotel for those who want to combine a beach holiday and an active excursion program.
- Que Huong Hotel - A short walk from the beach. The hotel has a restaurant, every evening there is a disco. The average price is 5000 rubles.
- Starlet Hotel - This place gives the impression that the hotel is more suitable for business than for a beach holiday. But the clean and stylish rooms, breakfast buffet, sea view balconies, and pool and gym are perfect for all types of travel.

Internet access is available in almost all hotels. When using the telephone, it is useful to inquire about local rates. Mobile cards are available and cost about VND 50,000 (local currency). They usually already have phone credit.
Travel Tips
During the daylight hours, Nha Trang is a safe and fun city, but you have to be careful in the evening. Experienced travelers are advised to leave all valuables in a hotel room, especially mobile phones and cameras thatmost targeted are petty thieves.
Although Nha Trang has a fairly low crime rate, there is still a risk of being robbed. The most favorite place of the local criminals is near the Sailing Club. Often the victim doesn't even realize they've been robbed until they return to their room.
