Ivankovskoe reservoir

One of the best places to spend a weekend is the so-called Moscow Sea. Officially, it is called the Ivankovsky reservoir and was created by the labors of the Dmitrovlag canal army in the ominous 1937. It is used for cargo navigation along the Volga route, as well as to Moscow and Tver. In addition, it ensures the functioning of the Ivankovskaya hydroelectric power station and other water and electricity supply facilities in the capital.

Klyazma reservoir: beaches

This hydroelectric facility arose as a result of the construction of the Pirogovsky hydroelectric complex in 1937. There are several recreation areas on the banks of the reservoir. For example, an excellent place for spending leisure time outdoors is the paid Trinity Beach. It belongs to the so-called lawns, where you can lie on the grass and have a picnic. There are also sandy beaches nearby. However, most of them are inferior in terms of equipment to Troitsky.

Klyazma reservoir, whose beaches are no less popular with residents of the capital than the recreation areas of Ivankovsky, is rich in fish. In particular, there are: roach, perch, catfish, bream, ruff and bream. That is why this artificial lake has long been considered an excellent place for organizing fishing both in summer and in winter.

The popularity of the Klyazma reservoir is due toalso its excellent transport accessibility. For example, you can get to its banks along the Ostashkovsky or Dmitrovskoye highways by car, as well as from the capital by pleasure flights from the River Station, or by trains to the Khlebnikovo or Vodniki railway platform.

Pirogovskoe reservoir

This body of water is considered part of the Klyazma artificial sea. On its shore there is such a popular resting place among Muscovites as the “Bay of Joy”. Mozhaisk reservoir

This artificial sea is the largest in the region. Its area is 30.7 km2, and in summer it becomes the most attractive weekend getaway for residents of the capital. Fishing is especially good on the Mozhaisk reservoir. It is organized both in summer and winter. The right bank of this reservoir is mostly steep and is perfect for fishing for large bream and pike perch on the donka, float rod, spinning or feeder. Pike is also caught there.

Fishing on the Mozhaisk reservoir can be organized both from the shore and from a boat, and almost anyspecies of fish inhabiting this reservoir. At the same time, due to the large number of people who want to try their luck, going out into nature in order to sit in silence with a fishing rod can be hopelessly ruined. That is why many experienced fishermen prefer to look for more secluded places. Fortunately, due to the huge area of the reservoir, excellent fishing at the Mozhaisk reservoir can always be organized.

As for the beaches, the most famous of them is Ilyinsky, where water equipment is rented, there is a barbecue area, sun loungers are installed, etc. In addition, there are many wild beaches on the banks of the reservoir. Rest on them is less comfortable, but there are no crowds of sunbathers.

Uchinsk reservoir: fishing

The reservoir and its banks are considered a strict water protection zone. It appeared in 1937 as a result of the construction of a large Akulovsky hydroelectric complex. Officially, it is strictly forbidden to approach its water surface less than 200 m, but this rule is often violated. In particular, throughout the year there are many who, despite all the warnings, strive to get to the Uchinsk reservoir. Fishing, according to them, is simply excellent. In this reservoir there is a large number of pike perch, perch, pike and bream. Also there you can catch crucian, carp, roach, gudgeon, tench, ide, burbot, catfish and ruff. Inveterate fishermen can spend the night in the Fisherman's House, located between the villages of Rozhdestveno and Dolganikha, where boats are available for rent.

As for the beach holiday,then, despite all the prohibitions, in the summer on the northern shore of the reservoir you can meet many swimmers and sunbathers. However, there are no equipped recreation areas.

Getting to the Uchinsk reservoir is very easy. For example, you can leave the Savelovsky station to the Trudovaya station, cross the Canal named after. Moscow to Rozhdestveno and then walk to the right.

Ruz reservoir

This is a relatively young artificial reservoir, which was created only half a century ago. Rest on the Ruza reservoir is organized, as there are several rest houses, children's camps and many equipped beaches on its banks. In addition, it is considered an excellent place for organizing fishing, as the reservoir is rich in fish. For example, bream, perch, pike, pike perch, silver bream, roach, ruff, bleak, and sometimes burbot are well caught there, which is also due to the fact that earlier industrial fish farming was carried out on the Ruza reservoir.

Pestovskoye reservoir

This is one of the favorite vacation spots for all those fans of water activities, whose residence is Mytishchi and Pushkin districts of the Moscow region.

Pestovskoye reservoir appeared in 1937 as one of the components of the famous Moscow Canal. It is navigable, and along its shores there are piers "Green Cape","Khvoyny Bor", "Forest", "Mikhalevo" and "Tishkovo". There is excellent summer fishing on the Pestovsky reservoir, as this reservoir is home to: crucian carp, pike perch, bream, perch, roach, ide, pike, ruff, asp, bleak, tench, bersh, burbot and catfish. You can count on a good catch in winter as well.

Ikshinskoe reservoir

This hydro facility has a relatively small area. It is navigable from April to November and is used to supply the capital with water. The Ikshinsky reservoir is a favorite place for spending summer weekends among residents of the Mytishchi region and is popular with fishing enthusiasts, as you can catch perches, roach, burbots, scavengers, ruffs and minnows there.

This is the first artificial reservoir in the canal system. Moscow, into which the Volga water enters. That is why swimming on the banks of this reservoir in the Moscow Region is safer from an environmental point of view than in other parts of the capital region.

You can get there via the Savelovskaya railway line (Trudovaya station), then on foot or by car along Dmitrovskoye Highway.

Khimki artificial sea

The construction of the dam for the Khimki reservoir began in 1932. Its height is 34 m. This is the only reservoir located directly on the territory of Moscow, and it is on its banks that Muscovites who do not have the opportunity to leave the city organize their holidays on the water in the summer.

In particular, the Livoberezhny beach is very popular among the residents of the capital. It has long been entrenched in the fame of the best vacation spot in the Moscow region onwater. You can get there from the metro station "Rechnoy Vokzal" by buses No. 138 and 739 (stop "Hotel Soyuz"). You can also use the shuttle bus number 138, which will take you directly to the beach. In addition, bus number 65 follows from the Vodny Stadion metro station.

The beach is sandy and surrounded by spreading trees. It has free changing booths, as well as lifeguards and an ambulance crew on duty. In addition, the "Left Bank" beach is equipped with a playground and a "paddling pool" for bathing kids.

Khimki Reservoir is also known for its elite Beach Club beach. On its territory there is a small hotel, a children's pool, tents for banquets. Entrance to the territory is free, but for all other services, including the use of a sun lounger and a mattress, you will have to pay. Youth parties are often held at the Beach Club. In addition, there is a minibar, a bar and a restaurant, but the prices are quite high.

You can get to the beach by metro to the Voykovskaya station, and from there on foot. As for those who are going there on their own vehicles, they should move along the Leningradskoe highway until the corresponding sign.

You can also organize a holiday on the Academic Ponds beach. This is a very beautiful place in the old Timiryazevsky park, which is part of the former estate of Count Razumovsky.

Khimki reservoir is the place where a beach holiday can be combined with an educational excursion. After all, therethere is a museum and memorial complex of the history of the Russian Navy. Submarine B396 "Novosibirsk Komsomolets", ekranolet "Eaglet" and landing assault boat "SKAT" are exhibited on its territory.

Pyalovskoe reservoir

Verkhneruz reservoir

There are various ways to get to this reservoir in the Moscow Region. For example, if you take an electric train from the Rizhsky railway station to the Shakhovskaya station, you need to transfer to a bus going to the village of Merklovo, and then walk 3.5 km on foot to the village of Filenino.

Istra reservoir

The reservoir was formed in 1935 as a result of the construction of an earthen dam 25 m high, 488 m long along the ridge. Like other reservoirs in the Moscow region, in the summer it attracts hundreds of residents of the capital, who are forced to spend their vacation season in a dusty metropolis.

The main feature of the Istra Sea is the opportunity to practice kayaking.

Mansions of many famous Russians are located on the banks of the reservoir, including the prima donna of the domestic show business. In addition, there are the most comfortable beaches in the region, so many residents of the capital prefer to spend their weekends in the Moscow region on the Istra reservoir. In particular, you can have a great time near the village of Turusovo, which is easily accessible along the Pyatnitskoye Highway, driving 40 km from the Moscow Ring Road to Sokolovo, then turning following the sign.
