Two kilometers from the Altai village of Artybash, on the right bank of the most beautiful Lake Teletskoye, one of the oldest and most famous tourist centers, Golden Lake, is waiting for its guests. The local population honorably calls it Altyn-Kol.

The complex is located on the coastal terrace of the northern part of the lake. Rest in these places is an invaluable find for those who want to actively have fun and get the brightest emotions from fun and excursions. High, rocky sheer shores and velvety delicate greenery of this taiga region captivate at first sight.

Historical background

Legends say that in 1927, a passionate lover of tourism, Vladimir Shemelev, discovered the site of the future Golden Lake tourist complex when he was looking for a parking lot and compiled a route map for guests from the capital and Novosibirsk. He prepared the glades and found the future staff from the localresidents. A couple of days later, the first tourists came here.

A year later, the base is already known as the official tent camp for groups sent to the Altai Mountains by the Russian Tourism Society.

By the start of construction, the complex shifted slightly to the east, closer to Artybash.

In 1937 the tourist complex was called "Artybashevsky Tourist House".

After the war, the base has been empty for a long time. But someone suddenly remembers the beautiful town of wooden buildings. And by 1952, it was being overhauled and expanded. There is a new hotel complex, an administration building, a bakery, kitchens and a large dining room.

By 1956 vouchers were issued to the base. They include a comfortable accommodation for the night, a dining room with an amazing menu, a sauna, a station and boat rental, as well as qualified guides.

By the beginning of the 60s of the last century, thanks to a large reconstruction, the base has already received more than three thousand tourists. The boat fleet and inventory have been significantly replenished, and a river boat has been purchased.

At the same time, a children's branch "Bear Cub" appears near the tourist complex. Young Pathfinders spend all summer in these places, exploring, having fun and relaxing.

By the end of the 80s of the last century, not only lovers of active recreation, but families with children who prefer a quiet and cozy vacation are already coming to the base.

Description

Today the Golden Lake tourist complex can accommodate 315 people at the same time. There are 235 main places at the base, the rest are organized at the request of vacationers. Guests are received attwo-storey comfortable building, comfortable cottage and numerous summer houses. During the cold season, 216 people are accommodated in heated rooms with extra beds.

Families with children, newlyweds, various companies, whether they are friends or employees of the same office, feel here with pleasure and comfort.

The territory of the recreation center is covered by Beeline, Megafon and MTS.

Residence Rules

Nine o'clock in the morning - checkout time, check-in starts at 11 am.

No pets allowed.

Children up to five years old inclusive can stay at the base for free (without providing a bed). Guests under the age of 12 receive discounts on excursions and a bed.

You can rent a room at the Golden Lake recreation center for at least two days and no more than 14.

Rooms

Hotel buildings and houses of the complex are located in the shade of spreading age-old pines, cedars, slender firs and weeping birches. People who have vacationed here often describe beautiful landscapes with admiration in their reviews.

Among this beauty, the Golden Lake recreation center offers guests several types of apartments. The price range is wide: from one and a half thousand for a suite to 350 rubles for a double summer house per day.

Luxury

These rooms are located in the cottage. They are designed for two guests, but if you wish, you can add two more (folding sofa). The suite has two rooms on two levels: a living room below, a bedroom above. ATThe apartments have comfortable upholstered furniture, a bed for two, a modern TV, bedside tables, a wardrobe, a dining table with soft chairs, a kettle and a microwave. Food

Summer cafe-tent offers a set menu: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cafe has a bar with drinks of different strengths and a large TV. According to the conditions of residence, meals (at least one time) must be paid. Breakfast costs 210 rubles, lunch - 360, dinner - 280 rubles. A special vegetarian menu and a children's menu have been developed (both on pre-order).

A summer bar is organized on the beach.

Infrastructure

On the territory of the Golden Lake tourist complex, a large swimming pool with a cafe is available for guests. Near it there is a large summer, central recreation area (with drinks and pancakes). A boat station and a pier, two baths (each for six people), a sports ground with a rental point for all kinds of sports equipment, kiosks are waiting for guests.with souvenirs and necessary food. The medical unit is open 24/7.

Paid extras

During the high season, according to the arrival schedule, tourists are delivered by comfortable charter buses. As follows from the reviews, those wishing to arrive at the Golden Lake recreation center (Altai Territory) between the main arrival days need to use regular intercity buses from Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Omsk, Biysk, Tomsk and Gorno-Altaisk. Individual transfer by car is possible.

Parking a car per day will cost 100 rubles, a minibus - 150 rubles, a bus - 300 rubles.

You can take a steam bath during the day for 400 rubles per hour, at night - for 450 rubles.

Entertainment

One of the most popular, judging by the reviews of the "Golden Lake", is a walk on the lake on a motor ship and boats, motor or rowing. You can rent pedal boats, as well as fishing and sauna equipment. The hostel has places for badminton, table tennis and volleyball. The administration of the recreation center organizes rafting on the Biya and Katun rivers, horseback riding and various excursions. There are also daily discos with show programs (club sound and light). Once a week there are sports competitions for children and adults.

The excursion program is very rich. The organizers suggest visiting the most interesting natural, historical and cultural objects of this part of Altai. Travel can be by water (by ship or boat), by foot, by car, by bicycle or by horse. A tour of Lake Teletskoye, its shores and surroundings, river rafting, sightseeing trips to a unique deposit of blue clay or to a forest nursery promises to be exciting. Guests of the Golden Lake recreation center in the Altai Mountains love excursions to the cascade of waterfalls on the Third River, to the mineral spring and to the city of Tilan-Tuu. Delightful tours are obtained on a motor boat, motor ship or cruising yacht to Stone Bay and Korbu waterfall. In fact, this is a long walk through the entire water area of the lake to the beautiful Kyrsai Cape. On the way to it, tourists find themselves near the Korbu waterfall (its height is more than 12 meters). The final goal of the route is picturesque glades at the confluence of one of the large tributaries of the Chulyshman River. Tourists live in real field conditions: tents, cooking on a fire, etc. (every person who buys a tour receives food in the tourist complex). On one of the days, those who wish are offered a walk to the Achelman waterfall (about 15 km). The cost of this expedition is from twothousand rubles per person.

The most persistent are invited to the walking tour "Climbing the observation peaks".

For the youngest guests of the complex there is a playground with carousels, swings, a sandbox and other entertainment, as well as a kids club with a variety of board and educational games, DVD and TV. The club has animators and educators with whom you can leave the children if necessary.
