Buses
Gates to public transportation boarding points are located in each terminal.
It takes about 40 minutes to reach the railway station in the capital by city bus number 22. Buses run at intervals of 10 minutes to half an hour, on weekends, as a rule, the interval is longer. If the ticket is purchased from the driver, then its cost is 2 €. In the arrivals area there are special vending machines for bus tickets or a ticket can also be bought at a newsstand. In such cases, its cost will be 1.15 €, and when buying a ticket for a day, it will cost 5 €. Buses leave the route at 5:40, the last flight leaves the airport at 23:30.
The bus stop is located at the P1 parking lot (opposite the exit from the airport terminal).
Minibuses No. 222 and 241 will take their passengers from the same stop to the center of Riga with increased comfort. The trip lasts no more than 30 minutes, the interval of movement is from 10 to 15 minutes. The start of the movement is at 6:28, the completion of work is at 21:30. Ticket prices and places of purchase are the same as for city route No. 22. Credit card payment for ticket No. 222 is possible.
Here you can also use the transport services of the airline "Airb altic". Ticket for a corporatethe Airport Express minibus costs 5 € and can be purchased online on the airline's website or directly from the driver.
Taxi
Taxi ranks are located in the arrivals areas of all terminals. A trip from the airport to the center will cost from 11 €, it should be taken into account that waiting or being stuck in a traffic jam are included in an additional charge (a minute costs 0, 14 €). The duration of the trip will be 15-30 minutes, depending on the traffic on the track.
Transfer
The most convenient and fastest way to get from the airport to Riga is a transfer, which can be booked in advance online (for example, KiwiTaxi). The driver is guaranteed to meet his passengers at the terminal with a name plate in his hands. Among other things, one of the advantages of using a transfer is a fixed price for the trip, which is indicated when booking a transfer and will not change (for example, due to traffic jams or a flight delay). The passenger independently chooses the vehicle he needs, taking into account individual characteristics (number of passengers, presence of small children, type of vehicle, etc.).
You can order a transfer not only to Riga, but also to other cities (Daugavpils, Jurmala, Panevezys, etc.).
Private vehicles
A convenient way to get to Riga Airport is by private car. There are three car parks at the airport:
- short-term (P1);
