Moscow's public passenger transport is developing more and more actively every year. The leadership of the capital has relied on the transfer of residents from personal vehicles, taking all possible measures and methods for this. The Moscow metro is desperately making its way beyond the Moscow Ring Road, as well as to those areas that are not yet covered by its underground web of passages. New stations are opened every year, the train schedule is optimized, and new amenities for passengers appear. While moving in the train car, you can access the Internet for free. Metro ticket offices offer various options for fares: daily, economy, uniform, etc.
The master plan for the development of Moscow's high-speed transport has been defined until 2025 and involves not only the extension of existing routes, but also the laying of new lines. One of them will pass through the Eastern district of the capital. The scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line has only eight stations so far, but in the long term itshould be part of a branch of the third ring radius of Moscow.
Service area
The projected branch is very important in terms of traffic redirection. It will relieve such districts as Kuzminki, Ryazansky, Vykhino-Zhulebino, Nizhegorodsky, and will also connect the Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka districts with the center of the capital. The Kozhukhovskaya metro line ends in a newly erected residential area, geographically near the borders of the Lyuberetsky fields.
The delivery date, originally planned for the end of 2016, has moved forward by a year and has not yet been finalized. However, at the current time, the completion date for the completion of the tunnel passage is set for the first quarter of 2017. The scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line is laid out in such a way that it will allow unloading the passenger traffic on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line. The planned coverage is about 600 thousand people in the areas of its service. The "burgundy line" of the metro is currently overloaded 1.3 times in average statistics, with peaks up to 2.4 during intensive hours.
Lean construction
The following important decisions were made as measures to reduce the cost of the project. Almost all stations of the new branch will be shallow, with a depth of 15-30 meters. This will significantly reduce the capital costs of their construction. The very scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line and the choice of sites for the construction of stopping points involve the construction of island-type stations, which also reduces the burden of costs and facilitates the estimate. During the construction of the hauls, it is planned to take into account the experience of Spanish engineers and carry out part of the project using the technology of one tunnel. According to the feasibility study, this will significantly reduce the cost of one meter of passage through the earth stratum.
Construction
On February 26, 2013, the construction of a new branch began with the process of drilling the first pile into the base of the wall of the future Nekrasovka station. The construction of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line is currently being carried out in an intensive mode and simultaneously on several fronts. The passage of the Kosino-Nekrasovka section is carried out by two tunneling shields at once. A new electric depot will be opened specifically for the direction under construction, the construction of which has already begun in the Rudnevo industrial zone. The full range of design work is carried out by OJSC Mosinzhproekt. The new metro line Kozhukhovskaya is named after the microdistrict of the same name, through which it will run. The line has nothing in common with the Kozhukhovskaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow metro, as it was named after the former village of Kozhukhovo, which was located on today's territory of the Yuzhnoportovy district of Moscow.
Where does it start?
Initially, the Kozhukhovskaya metro line will not have its own transfer point to the Koltsevaya line. It will start from the Aviamotornaya station of the Kalinin line. Therefore, after launching it into operation, the load on the “yellow branch” should increase. The platform of the station of the same name of the new line will be located perpendicular to the existing andparallel to the railway tracks, not far from the platform of electric trains. It is worth noting that the passenger part of each station of the new line will be separated from the tracks by automatic sliding doors, similar to the St. Petersburg metro.
Big TPU
The next station, Nizhegorodskaya, will be located at the intersection of the street of the same name and Ryazansky Prospekt. It is planned to build a large transfer hub (transport hub) here. In the future, there will be a transition to the third interchange circuit (MKZhD), as well as to the Karacharovo platform of the Gorky direction of the MZD, which for the sake of such an event will be moved several hundred meters to the west.
Within Moscow Ring Road
The next two stations, Stakhanovskaya Street and Okskaya Street, are also adjacent to Ryazansky Prospekt, which will have a positive effect on the comfortable delivery of passengers, both on personal and public transport. The Yugo-Vostochnaya station (former Fergana street), the last station of this line within the Moscow Ring Road, was renamed at the request of the residents of the district. The previous name (“Samarkand Boulevard”) was also not accepted, since the branch was launched not along Volgogradsky Prospekt, but along the parallel Ryazansky Prospekt. Before and after the "Yugo-Vostochnaya" "burgundy line" crosses the Kozhukhovskaya metro line twice. The photo of the cleared site for the construction of the station vestibules in the area of the streets of the same name is proof of this.
Outside the Moscow Ring Road
The Kosino station will be opened in close proximity to the Lermontovsky Prospekt station. Perhaps in the future they will be connected by a transfer node. "S altykovskaya street" was located in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district, at the intersection of the street of the same name and Dmitrievsky street. The final name of the station has not yet been finally determined, as well as the station following it, Kosino-Ukhtomskaya. After it, the interline will leave the main tunnel to the Rudnevo depot. The final stop, which is shown by the diagram of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line, Nekrasovka, is still located in the field. The future sleeping area is just beginning to be built here. However, the design density of buildings and the high number of storeys of buildings leave no doubt that the station will take over most of the passenger flow of Muscovites from this area. Yes, Nekrasovka is part of the city of Moscow.
