Peschanoe is a small resort village in the Crimea, where there are many boarding houses and tourist centers. People of different ages come here to relax, as well as families with children, because prices here are much lower than in other places on the peninsula (for example, the South Coast). The most popular among tourists are recreation centers in Peschanoe. Their choice should be approached responsibly, because poor service and unfriendly staff can spoil not only the rest, but also the overall impression of the place.
Where is it?
Sandy is located in the northwestern part of the peninsula, right on its very edge. It is part of the Bakhchisarai region. As for the distance to Bakhchisaray itself, it is 33 km. Approximately the same path has to be done if there is a desire to visit the hero city of Sevastopol.
How to get there?
There are only two ways to get to the village of Sandy:
- on private transport;
- onbus.
It is worth considering each of the options in more detail.
Bus
The easiest and fastest way to get to the resort village Peschanoe is to take the bus. Every day, about 20 flights depart from the capital of Crimea (Simferopol) towards the village, and some of them go directly from the airport. This is very convenient, since it will be much easier for a person who has arrived in Crimea for the first time to reach the bus station, buy a ticket and hit the road.
Otherwise, you will have to take a trolleybus or fixed-route taxi to the railway station, where the bus station "Kurortnaya" is located. If we talk about the travel time, then it is about 1 hour 20 minutes, but if you go from the bus station, which is located at the airport, then the travel time will be about 1 hour.
Car
As for traveling by car, everything is basically simple here too. The main tourist flow comes from Kerch, because there is a ferry crossing. From there there are 3 roads that can take you to the village of Peschanoe, Bakhchisarai region.
The first option, which is also considered the fastest, starts from the E97 / M17 highway, and then goes to the P23 road, which will lead to Simferopol. Only one highway leads from the capital to Sandy - H06. The total travel time will be approximately 3 hours 50 minutes, excluding traffic.
The other 2 options offer a longer route, bypassing Simferopol, along the M17 / M18 and P25 highways. Travel time atusing these routes increases by approximately 40-50 minutes.
Description
Before proceeding to the description of recreation centers in Peschanoe, it would be nice to talk about the place itself and its attractions.
Not so long ago, the village could hardly be called a resort, because no one wanted to equip anything. It seemed as if time stood still in these places. But after 2014, when the tourist flow increased sharply, things began to gradually improve. New recreation centers, hotels, sanatoriums and boarding houses are being created for vacationers.
There are not too many sights in Peschanoe, one can say that there are practically none, but it is definitely worth visiting the Ust-Alma settlement, which in 1969 was given the status of a monument of national importance. It was built by the Scythians at the end of the 2nd century BC. e.
This city was considered the second largest after Scythian Naples. After some time, cooperation was established with Chersonese, whose inhabitants bought a lot of bread. The history of this place is certainly very rich, and it is better to get acquainted with it individually.
There is also the Alma memorial complex, dedicated to the Alma battles of 1854 between the British, French and Turks on the one hand and the Russians on the other. The first monument was erected here by the British on the site of a mass grave in 1877
In general, especially morethere is nothing to see in Peschanoe, but it’s good that the distance to Sevastopol and Bakhchisarai is small. There is also something to see there, for example, the Khan's Palace, Chufut-Kale, the cave monastery, the 35th battery, Sapun Mountain, etc.
As for the rest in Sandy (Crimea), then everything is extremely simple. Swimming in the sea, sunbathing on the beach, walking around, horseback riding, water sports, diving, etc. For families with children, children's towns are equipped here, pony rides and car rides are organized, and there is also a park entertainment. In addition, a circus often comes to the village in summer, where quite interesting performances take place.
Recreation centers and boarding houses
As mentioned earlier, recreation centers in Peschanoe and boarding houses are the most popular among vacationers. It is about them that will be discussed, but in fairness it should be noted that living in the private sector will cost a little less, but oh well.
Recreation center "Randevu"
It would be more correct to say not a recreation center, but a boarding house. At least that's what it says on the official website. The choice of rooms here is not too extensive, there are only three types:
- double junior suite;
- double suite;
- triple suite.
It is worth noting one interesting feature: the junior suites do not have a balcony.
Now for the price. They are divided into 3 periods, but in general, we can say that they are 2. So, accommodation from June to the end of August will cost 1200-1600rub. per day for a double junior suite. The first price is 1200 rubles. - means accommodation without meals, and 1600 rubles, on the contrary, with meals.
As for the rest of the months, the prices for them are somewhat lower - 800 and 1400 rubles. respectively. As a result, a 10-day vacation at the minimum price will cost 8,000 rubles (excluding food costs).
As for the luxury rooms, their prices are only 200 rubles higher than the previous ones.
Well, and finally, a list of what the boarding house provides to its guests:
- free wi-fi;
- brazier;
- playground;
- car parking.
In addition, each room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. The differences between "suite" and "junior suite" are only in the provision of a large closet and a loggia with furniture.
Victoria
The minimum price for living in this place is 9000 rubles. for a 10-day stay in a double room. For this money, a person gets cable TV, free internet, air conditioning, a fan, a wardrobe, a washing machine, an iron, a balcony overlooking the garden, a separate bathroom, etc. The only thing missing is a separate small kitchenette.
In addition, Victoria Guest House provides rental of bicycles and diving equipment. The beach is very close, only 10 minutes.walk. Also, the lack of three meals a day can be attributed to the disadvantage of this place, but on the other hand, rarely in which guest house this service is provided.
Sandy in summer
Quite an interesting and attractive name of the last recreation center in Peschanoe. By the way, not only the name attracts here, but also the price - it is very low, only 5400 rubles. in 10 days. Moreover, for this money both a family room and a double room with two separate beds are offered.
Since these are budget rooms, the bathroom will be shared, as well as the toilet, but everyone will have their own small kitchenette. Also, free internet, TV, wardrobe, air conditioning, barbecue and free parking are provided for everyone.
For those who need a private bathroom, the superior rooms are great. Of course, they cost more, almost 12 thousand rubles, but they are equipped with everything you need.
In principle, this is the end of "Sandy Summer" services. There is no bike rental, diving equipment or anything like that, but the beach is close by, only a 10 minute walk.
Reviews
According to the reviews of tourists about the rest in the Crimea, Peschanoe is pretty good. There are not very many people even at the height of the season, the prices for accommodation and food are quite reasonable. Vacationers also like the beaches. By the way, they are different here: there are both completely sandy and pebbly.
The only one and,perhaps the most important drawback is the lack of infrastructure in the village, but everything is still ahead and, perhaps, this problem will be eliminated soon. Have a nice holiday!
