The amazingly beautiful Lake Ingol (Krasnoyarsk Territory) is one of the brightest pearls of the necklace of Sharypov lakes. The geography of its guests is very diverse: from local residents and vacationers from the adjacent regions of Siberia to traveling Muscovites and Petersburgers.
Lake geography
In an area covering about 4.2 km2, Lake Ingol is located. Sharypovsky district, located in the foothills of the Kuznetsk Alatau, is rightfully considered a lake region and is adjacent to the Kemerovo region.
Next to the lake, which is 312 meters above sea level, there are two small villages - Ivanovka and Sorokino. Not far from them is the Ingol (railway) station, from which a lot of hikers get to the place of rest. The valley of the mountain river Uryup adjoins the reservoir along a fairly large part of the coastline.
Automotivejourney
Ingol Lake is a wonderful place for a wide variety of recreation. How to get there by car? If you leave Krasnoyarsk, then you should move along the M-53 highway to Achinsk, and then turn to Nazarovo and, having passed this settlement, do not miss the turn towards the village of Zaryanka. Moving in this direction, you should go to Sharypovo, and then turn towards BGRES and Dubinino towards Sorokino. Another route that leads to the resting place is M-54 Yenisei.
Deep History
Ingol, surrounded by low ridges and mountain ranges, according to many, resembles a crystal fabulous bowl filled with clear water. The lake with a rather uneven bottom relief, significant differences in depth (from depressions to underwater rocks) is becoming a very popular place among divers. For a long time it was believed that in some places the maximum depth is approaching 100 m.
However, modern research refutes human ideas and forces us to take a fresh look at Lake Ingol. The depth map compiled during the expedition of the Naiad club from Tomsk shows that the maximum depth is 39 m, and the average depth of the lake is 15.5 m.
Silver Waters
Quite often the properties of the local waters are compared with those of Baikal. Local legends say that Lake Ingol and Lake Baikal are connected by an underground natural channel. The crystal purity and transparency of water, despite the presence of many impurities, is due to the presence of silver in its composition. Exactlysilver to a greater extent and contributes to the natural purification of the reservoir, which allows one to view the bottom at a depth of up to 10 m. Noticeably inferior in size to Baikal (maximum length - 3.5 km, width - up to 1.5 km), Lake Ingol in no way can give him the palm for his unusualness, natural attractiveness and healing properties.
Legend of the life-giving spring
Locals are very fond of telling the legend of living water from Lake Ingol. The only son of a noble family suddenly fell ill. But no invited healers and healers could help the rich heir, no matter how hard they tried. And only one very, very ancient shaman, having talked with the ancestral spirits of this family, said that in order for the boy to recover, it is necessary to find living water. The father of the sick young man spent a long time looking for her and, in the end, decided to turn to the spirit of water, who lives in one of their local lakes. And the waterman, taking pity on him, suggested that the desired remedy was in a secluded iron cave, indicating the path to it.
But at the same time, as payment for advice, the spirit of water ordered the parent to bring a bottle of life-giving water on the way back, and then bring it as a gift every year. Having done as it was said, soon the father was rewarded: the heir recovered and, glorifying his people, annually carried out this order. And in the place where the living water poured out, a life-giving spring was formed.
Forgotten Commitments
Since that time, the name of the lake, literally translated from the Khakas language, means he althy (“in”) water (“goal”). However, over time, people began to forget about their obligations. And now, of course, no one brings gifts to the spirit of water. And so quite often this one gets angry and nervous, causing angry waves to suddenly rise on the surface of the lake.
Ingol Lake - the secret of longevity
Thanks to scientists from the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Physics, ancient legends can be viewed from a different angle. Lake Ingol is located on the site of large karst cavities connected by flowing channels underground. Stretching to remote mountainous areas, these channels consistently provide the lake with a large amount of the purest groundwater. At a considerable depth, the expedition of this university discovered the largest source, thanks to which there is a constant flow of water.
It is he, in combination with other natural features (karst rocks of the Devonian period contain limestone), that contributes to the preservation of the size of the lake and the virtual absence of signs of drying and natural aging.
Highlights
The springs flowing into Lake Ingol, beating on the surface, are rather small in size and extremely unstable in terms of the arrival of the water flow. The most famous of them is the Steep Key, located in the north of the reservoir. Even in ancient times, people treated it with respect and considered its waters to be healing, calling it, according to some sources, Iron, and according to others - Saints. Then there was a small chapel in which in the summerreligious rituals were performed. From the south, the inconspicuous Dry Spring flows into the lake, and from the east - the Nameless Spring. These small streams increase significantly in the spring, as well as during heavy rains.
Recreation center
Lake Ingol (its photo is presented in the article) of an almost regular oval shape, with smooth shores and an almost complete absence of bays and coves, attracts many people who are not indifferent to the picturesque beauties.
Features of the relief allow you to view the water surroundings from almost anywhere, and the purity of the water gives tourists the opportunity to look at the bottom, which deceptively seems quite shallow. Since 1983, these places have been given the status of a natural monument, which brings not only tangible advantages. Certain obligations that limit the possibilities of a person on the territory of the reserve are quite justified and quite easily perceived by visitors. It is strictly forbidden to be with animals and ride motor boats and scooters. The recreation center attracts its admirers not only with the cleanest air, wonderful mixed forest and delightfully diverse vegetation. Lake Ingol, or rather, the recreation center of the same name, provides quite ample opportunities for organizing great leisure activities with children, companies or alone.
At the available rental points you can take a variety of sports equipment - from balls and badminton to rowing boats and air mattresses, circles and vests. In winter, snowmobiles can be rented here. From board games on the territory of the base there aredominoes, lotto, chess and checkers.
Ingol Recreation Center has a tennis court, volleyball and basketball courts, a guarded parking lot and a beach. In the immediate vicinity there is a small shop, a cozy cafe and even a sauna. In summer, you can accommodate a huge company in a tent camp for 70 people, and in winter in a more modest society - for 28 people. This means that a vacation on Lake Ingol can become no less exciting and memorable than in the most fashionable boarding houses.
Healing Attraction
Despite the relatively little knowledge of the medical and therapeutic parameters of these places, Lake Ingol was very popular among the inhabitants of the surroundings and the entire Yenisei province in the 19th century. At that time, doctors quite reasonably declared the possibility of being healed with the help of local therapeutic complexes from paralysis, rheumatoid pains, inflammatory processes, scrofula and other diseases. Water containing silver ions has a beneficial effect on the skin, and therefore far-sighted tourists take jars with a healing mixture from here. In addition, mud applications are quite successfully used in the treatment of diseased joints and psoriasis.
Fishing expanse
The unique lake has long attracted a huge number of lovers of all types of fishing.
The transparency of clean water contributes to the development of spearfishing in these places: large pikes and carps often become trophies. In summer timeIt is most convenient to fish from a boat because of the rather gentle coast. Traditionally, perch, crucian carp and roach hatch well on the lake, but recently bream, vendace and peled, which have taken root in the silvery waters, are becoming more and more common, which are especially pleasing to anglers. In the deepest places you can catch whitefish or ripus.
Environmental degradation
Despite all the efforts of local authorities and the introduction of a conservation regime in the lakeside area, this truly unique natural area still has some problematic issues. With a categorical ban on logging, plowing, carrying out any construction and laying roads, in the area of \u200b\u200bLake Ingol, measures are still being taken to develop the lake valley. This means that new plots of land are allocated for the placement of recreation centers and sports facilities for a number of enterprises, the lakeside forest belt, grasslands are cut down and destroyed, roads are being laid. Heaps of garbage, the remains of fires and temporary huts, left by many tourists and fishermen, fall into the purest waters of the lake during the spring flood, clogging it in the strongest way.
Human carelessness, unaware of the consequences of their own careless negligence, can lead, to great regret, to the formation of a dirty swamp, completely unlike the sample of purity and healing power that this water pearl still represents.
Lake Ingol, as well as other natural resources, require careful and respectfulrelations. And only in this way will our descendants be able to see and enjoy the natural beauties bestowed upon us from the beginning.
