Sevastopolskaya Square was named so in 1990. It was formed from the connection of the territory in front of the western entrance of the Kakhovskaya metro station and the site that unites several streets.
Square location
Sevastopolskaya Square is located in the Southwestern District of Moscow, in the Zyuzino district. The length of the borders is approximately 810 meters. The area is located at the intersection of several streets: Kakhovka, Azovskaya and Bolshaya Yushunskaya. After them follows Chongarsky Boulevard. Not far from it is Simferopol. A little north of this boulevard is Bolotnikovskaya street.
Description of the area
There are many buildings and structures near Sevastopolskaya Square, but not related to it by numbering. The residential sector belongs to Bolshaya Yushunskaya and Azovskaya streets. Most of the Sevastopol Square are trade pavilions. Another significant part is occupied by a green square. There are several administrative objects on the borders of the square:
- Berlin Hotel;
- building belonging to Nika private school;
- ambulance substation;
- maternity hospital number ten.
Also allotted on the squareseparate area for weekend fairs. Nearby rises a high-rise building, built back in 1966. The building houses the Kvartal supermarket and the Dixy store. Sevastopol Square from the east merges with the green square, originating on Chongarskaya street.
There is a 16-storey residential building (108 apartments) with one entrance nearby. The house was built back in 1968. Next is the Azovsky-2 residential complex, which consists of 12-, 18- and 24-storey buildings with ten entrances. The house was built in 2004, it has 717 apartments. At the bottom of the residential complex there is a medical center, offices of some companies and the Magnit department store.
There is an undeveloped site near Sevastopolskaya Square. It is planned to build a new housing complex "Rodnoy Gorod" on it. Sevastopolskaya Square, from the west of which there is a boarding school, has the residential complex "Aivazovsky" at the same borders. A little further away are the shopping center "Kakhovsky" and the hotel.
This infrastructure is very convenient for tourists visiting the capital of Russia. Sevastopol area is surrounded by large areas of vegetation. Green spaces are also in its center.

You can get there by minibuses No. 457m, 224m and 198m. Buses with numbers 222, 189, 786 and 218k go to the square. In addition to the listed transport, you can get there by metro. The nearest stations to the square are Sevastopolskaya and Kakhovskaya.
