The population of the district is equal to the population of a small provincial town. According to one of the latest censuses, about 266 thousand people live here. This territorial-administrative unit was founded in 1718. There are a lot of attractions here, about 40 squares and 16 boulevards, Shuvalovsky Park, 7 lakes and several ponds. Five rivers flow throughout the region, but vacationers from St. Petersburg and other cities flock to the famous Suzdal lakes.

The large and actively developing Vyborgsky district, of which Northern Avenue is an integral part, is famous not only for its landscapes, but also for its municipal institutions.
