We will take a virtual trip to India's Gateway, Mumbai, a modern and Victorian Gothic city of 18 million that has straitjacketed off the old Portuguese name Bombay, gaining strength as the nation's financial, cultural and scientific heart. However, the topic of this article will not be the main buildings of the Central and Commercial Banks, the Institute of Fundamental and the Center for Nuclear Research, and not even the 150-year-old University of Mumbai, Mahatma Gandhi's alma mater, measuring the new era of India with an old clock on the Rajabai tower.
Our focus will be on an impressive contemporary architectural masterpiece, commensurate with the legendary Gardens of Babylon, Aquaria Grande, Mumbai's high-end residential complex, Singapore-based cyber-architect James Lo's high point.
The building was commissioned by we althy real estate company Wadhwa Group. The elegant symmetrical architectural composition of the two luxury 37-storey residential buildings made of glass and concrete is amazing.
Strong steel prefabricated frames of two residential buildings Aquaria Grande in Mumbai support futuristic harmonious structures with smooth linesside surfaces of panoramic glazing. But the main know-how of the project is unique balconies-pools equipped with wavy transparent walls made of modern composite materials, which are a bold and unexpected design solution of the Aquaria Grande creative project in Mumbai. The price of such a masterpiece corresponds to the category of buyers who are not used to counting money for a long time.
The buildings of Aquaria Grande in Mumbai are so natural that they are somewhat reminiscent of plants, consisting of cells, fibers through which flows of energy and information move. The structure of the residential complex is completed by huge curved futuristic surfaces - canopies made of weightless, heavy-duty composite materials, reminiscent of fantastic birds landing on buildings from above.
The completed project includes spacious apartments (there are 200 of them), a stylishly designed club area with an extensive outdoor pool, a garden with alleys on the roof, a three-level modern parking lot. The original modernist curvilinear design of the club area, decorated with non-classical composite columns, is decorated with a harmonious combination of white and intense brown tones. Panoramic glazing of the outer wall connects the interior of the Aquaria Grande in Mumbai with the breathtaking landscape of the huge city.
Professional lighting is an important touch of the club interior, having visited it once, you want to come again.
Whatever critics say, there is no doubt that the Aquaria Grande in Mumbai is already ranked amongexamples of residential architecture of the future. Water park house, a frozen waterfall, the fruit of futuristic creativity. This project is another breakthrough in the creation of technologies that bring the technogenic human environment as close as possible to the natural one, the creation of “buffer” zones between them. Another dress rehearsal for the next stage of development - the harmonious fusion of architecture with nature.
